Australia is very diverse country, you might come across some racist individuals. Originally I’m from Iraq and I feel Australia is like my home country
@@hassankassem83 Australia only got diverse starting around the 1960's. The United Nations called them out on their racist policies. At that time only whites from certain countries could immigrate there. There is a famous case of a Chinese man who applied to stay there but was refused. I saw this in a documentary about the racist history of Australia. Now I know there are many Asians from the East who live there. In that documentary they mentioned that the Japanese wanted a clause that all people are inherently equal during the conference held at the Palace of Versailles after WW1. But the Australian prime minister refused that such a clause should be included at the peace treaty.. They go on to say that's one of the reasons the Japanese were so bitter which eventually led up to WW2. During that war they sure taught the Australians a lesson when they imprisoned some of their soldiers and taught them who was superior.
