I passed my driving test this year at the ripe old age of 39.... Immediately went and bought a Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Veloce, 2.0 with 170bhp) I LOVE IT. It's so so nice to drive, I say thank you to here every time I turn off the ignition after driving her because I'm grateful for the experience, getting to my destination safely, and that she didn't blow up! My dream is to get her to the Nürburgring next year
Had the same Busso 2.5 190hp with a 6 speed manual on the Alfa Romeo 166 wich is bigger and havier (150-200kg.) Loved every morning the cold start...that sound put always a smile on my face and my little son always asked me to rev it up😊 It's a nice engine to drive, very old school, power from middle to high rpm. and more it goes up and more it pulls. Still very good and comfortable to drive in the city, slowly. Torque always available even in low rpm. It was built to last, no matter what! You can't find that sound nowadays anymore. Love the Busso V6, engine from another era ❤❤❤

I have Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 T.S about 3 years. I really love my car. In three years, a lot of people bought an Alfa Romeo because of me and they are all happy now. Even the previous owners said "I miss my 156, I wish I didn't sell it" Cars don't need to be fast, we all want soul and feel. That's all.

Ten years ago i had one just like this, except in black, and it is the one car that i still miss to this day. Had it for about 5 years and sold it because i drove a lot and could not keep up with the fuel costs. Like Micha said, it's not a race car, but what a thing to drive every day. I still remember the look and feel of the interior, the sound of that glorious busso, and the quick steering. Take good care of it, they are getting rare!
159 better looking, but worse platform and engine choices, except for maybe the 1750 and diesel options. All alfas are criminally underrated though cause of people claiming its unreliable.
Busso, the nicest V6 ever made. And 156 was the nicest saloon and wagon of the era, still looks great. the only thing missing was the proper sports FR layout.
I think FWD isn't the end of the world for a car like this. After all it's made to be a balance between fun but also safety and practicality. FR layout fits more with sedans and coupes.
Wanted to comment after watching the intro, I got goosebumps just by seeing the car itself! Car looks so clean love the color and the interior, 2.5L v6 busson engine symphony, Alfa is something special we all love Alfa but some people seem to be jealous 😂

I’ve driven the track a few times and every time I’m gripping the wheel until my knuckles turn white and I’m sweating buckets. 👊🏻🏴 Great V6 engine, I had an Alfa 164 Super 3.0 V6 that we drove from England to the Nurburgring. Great sound and comfort but handled like a buttered baguette. Just subscribed!

I have 156 V6 SW for about 15 years, at the beggining of ownership used as daily, now stored as a youngtimer...modified with squadrachip, big inlet pipes... highly recomend this mod :) + DS2500 front pads and thinking about little bit lowering and stiffer shocks.. but its now wery comfortable.. and preffer stock look

Busso V6 FTW.I have a friends GTV with me for some electrical work, has a really nice aftermarket exhaust,sounds fantastic.Really emotional cars but my word the gremlins they come with😅🤣 Love the interior colour on this 156,those seats look the same as the GTV's,they're really comfy
Missing oil temp. gauge of 156 was fixed in NA petrol versions of 159 ;) That interior of this 156 is so nice and well preserved after all of those years ❤

Had a twin spark gtv many years ago modded after having a golf r then went into renualts and Audis. Recently picked up a 147 gta with all the tricks on it, track ready. It’s raw but I drive it everyday awesome

Had a twin spark gtv many years ago modded after having a golf r then went into renualts and Audis. Recently picked up a 147 gta with all the tricks on it, track ready. It’s raw but I drive it everyday awesome
