For anybody asking about the printer, he’s using the epson f570. You can see it for a split second. I just got the same one (upgraded from the f170 for larger sizes) and it’s amazing.
Just Google it bro, he's not even an expert at it and can barely explain what it is. There's hundreds more videos from actual experts. Stahls, Condé and others have way more videos.
@@user-lc7zt8sk6i sublimation uses heat to change the design to a gas which bonds to the synthetic fibres of the fabric in a permanent way, DTF is ink and powder that is dried onto the fabric in a way that is permanent but can fade/deteriorate over time
I have the same and it works amazing. I bought it refurbished directly from epson, $179 which includes free shipping to me. It came with the same warranty as a new one but since I converted it doesn't apply, but anyhow the point being that it works amazingly. I may upgrade to a larger one before long, but I love the Epson Eco tanks with refillable ink tanks because they are extremely economical, very affordable to purchase, and they work great.
i was looking at the chromolux blanks, I just ordered some machines, hoping to start, but with the price range of selling them and compete, chromolux costing around $10-$15 a piece, you can barley make any money unless you do the big pieces. where can I get Chromolux blanks for cheaper?
Shirts have to have at least 50% polyester in them. The higher the poly count the better the image will come out. Lower polyester count will have more of a vintage look.
I don't know where HE gets his blanks, but Johnson Plastics Plus. They carry the actual ChromaLux metal panels, which are some of the very best quality. You def want quality when sublimating in metal!😀 Great company to work with as well!
Hey this is great work! Live the quality What type of pc are you using to send to image to the printer . For instance desktop or laptop tablet then what brand apple hp cannon?
When doing sublimation, when you put it on the heat press, you always want to cover with something such as butcher paper, and some people use the more expensive Teflon sheets for it. Personally, I used the butcher paper. It is used to absorb what is referred to as "blowout". When you press sublimation, it actually convert the ink to a gas that is pressed into the fibers of the poly coating on the material you are using. Many times, there will be excess ink, and when pressed it will "blow out". If you don't have the butcher paper or something else that you use for blowout paper, it will be blown out all over your project that you are pressing and it will be ruined. That's just a sort of simple explanation maybe not professional or in-depth, but that is basically what it is all about. 😊
I got a painting like this that's printed on an old-school looking piece of tin, it's a painting of the scene from the end of fight club where Tyler and Martha are looking out the window of the building there and as all the skyscrapers explode.
Man, the truck you picked just made me want this printer even more.
My favorite part was when he said sublimation
All 40 times

I loooked into sublimation for my clothing designs but I ended up going for DTF and now just got to set it all up
Dtf vs sublimation
Whats the difference?

Just make sure you have good ventilation when you're pressing it. Don't want to breathe in the vapors.

That color profile is perfect!
Sounds like someone who doesn't know what sublimation actually is trying to explain what sublimation is😂. "Liquid polyester coating" 😂
I'm assuming the sublimation panel is also not like any regular panel. Am I correct Mr. TH-camr ?
He said chromalux
The heat press machine press online the metal places or also tshirts? The same machine works in both materials?

Oh it isn't, what's different? Last I checked it's exactly the same. Print using sublimation ink, press onto coated substrate.
Where or how do you get the picture/design?
The Internet.
Now where can we get that metal sheet?

Don't tell people your secrets.
Shouldn't you keep some secrets? People could start a business. And you're making unnecessary competition
lol None of this is a secret. If you Google local metal sublimination printing you'll find like 10 print shops near you that do it.
Do you have an email I could contact you at?
