I bought both versions i didn't do this with Medabots though because that was never really censored to a point where you would notice.

Hi there, if I remember correctly, they've (currently) only announced releases for both the English dub and original Japanese version (with subtitles) of the first season specifically. Until they make an official announcement on season 2 and/or beyond that, I can't say for sure. But one would assume that given there's likely a lot of demand for them to release more of them, who knows, it could well happen.

Was there any remastering done to this set or is it just an upscale?
Would like your thoughts on Hajime No Ippo bluray release
Thinking about purchasing this now to lock in the Preorder price but not sure if I should get it or wait for a deep discount.
How is the actual content? Any image, menu, caption, or other problems with the release so far?
Honestly, I'm really glad I picked it up now rather than waiting. The picture quality is amazing! From the few episodes I've been able to watch in full so far, it's a great release and well worth it in my opinion.
I haven't encountered any issues to me, but that may be different for anyone planning to watch the set with the optional captions activated. (I will add that I rarely watch things with captions, so I'm not familiar with what possible general industry standards/guidelines for those are, but) I could understand if some people had questions about their placement on screen at times. It doesn't bother me, but again I'd completely understand if it potentially bothered others.
[Small side note, but if it's any help I've just published an On The Disc video about this Blu-ray. So you might be able to gauge a few things from that, perhaps?]

EDIT - re: the optional captions I mentioned, it's just occurred to me the placement of them could well be designed to indicate a different line of dialogue commencing. Not a fact by any means, but just a theory.
Do you think they will ever reprint these? Can't find this anywhere.

The original Digimon Adventure was a classic Japanese anime of all time, I enjoyed it. But I still cannot stand the horror things on Digimon...especially...gulp....I don't want to remind my true fear/my worst nightmare from Digimon Tamers from that last saga. Too scary for me. Gave me the worst nightmares in my entire life when I first saw it as a kid in the early 2000s and I saw it again in the mid 2000s as a teenager.

does anyone else's slipcover look like it's a "knock-off"... .it almost has colors that are somewhat washed out and is super super glossy and thick feeling almost like they color copied it too many times.

Discotek have already announced they are going to be releasing the Japanese audio with English subtitles Blu-ray too. So that's on the way in the future if this version isn't to your taste.
