Fantastic news I just got the brand new Digimon Blu-ray that includes the first three Digimon short films in their uncut Japanese format with a brand new dub bringing back some of the original dub cast along with including an HD remaster of Digimon The Movie, the American cut that 20th Century Fox released which combines all three Digimon films into one while making changes. I'm really loving the brand new dubs that Discotek made they're more faithful to the original Japanese script, of course in terms of nostalgia I'll always love the original Digimon movie since the Digimon movie was first introduction to the Digimon anime. This new Blu-ray set of the Digimon movies is supposed to be released on December 17th I really hope you do a Blu-ray review on the Digimon Movies Collection 1 Blu-ray set.
@shortshaker9236 I got my copy last weekend & already watched everything twice lol Definitely my most anticipated Discotek release! The amount of effort they took with these movies was worth the wait. The uncut dub was a nice surprise as it retains a lot of the original dub script, the first 2 films are pretty identical with the tone being more faithful but the 3rd film was like another story! The original cast returning was such a miracle & even the voice matches were thoughtfully chosen. And of course the original dub will always be special, it's pretty much burned in my memory lol This is the definitive release for sure. I hope to review it down the road!
@@DBZASHKACHU Great I hope you do a video review on the new Digimon The Movies Collection 1 Blu-ray. I'm really looking forward to it. By the way the original uncut Japanese version of Digimon Adventure 02 is currently available for pre-order. It's supposed to be released on February 25th next year.
That's the power of Digimon! It was in stock before the official street date on Crunchyroll, so I managed to get a copy but it did sell fast. There should be more soon.
@@mikeg8768 From a business standpoint it's actually worth it. Discotek has stated fans want & care about owning the version of the show they grew up. People are more familiar with the edited dub versions of some titles & still sell better than the subbed version. Digimon is a big title that holds nostalgia, that's probably why they remastered the English version & why the Japanese version is being released at all. Discotek loves Digimon, it's a lot of work restoring the dub but it's proved successful. It's a win win for fans who want a quality release of the version they wish to own. I welcome both versions.
Digi Armor ENERGIZE!!! Feel free to share your favorite memory or moment from this season of Digimon!

This sold out QUICKLY!

When’s the sub release going to come out
No release date has been scheduled yet, could be at the end of the year or early next year. Hopefully sooner than later.
@@DBZASHKACHU I'd rather own the Sub version. Why they took the time to chop up the footage to sync it with the dub is waste of time and money.

is it region free?
@@Shad0wHawk86 I believe it's Region A locked, like most of their releases. It's usually requested by the Japanese licensors to be like that.
