Why does the parking brake mysteriously engage by itself sometimes and other times it does not? And it doesn't let me disengage without buckling my seatbelt. Really? Did my mom design the feature?
Great informative video. I like the manual shifting option but I think Mazda’s got the upshifting & downshifting direction backwards. To me moving the shifter forward would be the natural direction.
Mazda actually has the correct direction. The forward for downshift comes from sequential transmissions in race cars and rally cars. When you are slowing down, it’s easier to push forward to down shift as g forces naturally bring you forward. Same as you accelerate, g force brings you back, easier to pull back to upshift. Mazda considers it a drivers car, so that’s likely why they chose that. If you use it while driving fast on a twisty road, it makes sense.
If you do a video containing suroof/moonroof operation, could you use a CX-50 or CX-90? I have yet to see if the paniramic roof has the same tilt (vent) and slide (open) functions as a regular sunroof...
The 2 beeps that your car emit when you turn of the car, exit, and close the door are “have you left the vehicle?” And “confirmed, you’ve left; locked.” Beeps. You’re hitting it a third time
This looks exactly like mine, mine is a 2024, the dealer told me I would have wireless CarPlay, and touchscreen while in CarPlay but mine does not. Wondering if this has something to do with models
Great haul David. I almost got my first Stagg Jr a couple days back. They wanted $169.99 for batch 23A, but I remembered you loved 23C and held off until I can find that one later this year. Cheers and Happy Nee Year!
Why do you need a miles to empty, you have a contents gauge and when you reach a quarter tank , you fill up. There are too many people breaking down because they have let the tank run dry by using the miles to empty. It is just laziness. Up to recent we never had miles to empty and got by fine. Why do you need radar cruise control, whats wrong with a mark 1 eyeball, same with the lane lines. If you look out of the windscreen you can see the lane markings. You don't want to be driving on instrument but visual driving rules. Those gadgets won't help you in a court of law, you are supposed to look out the windows and use your mirrors. Obviously all these gadgets are for the lazy American market, automatic gearboxes, EBC, electric boot lids, no wonder the US is becoming obese. You need to walk more and drive less and not eat out.
First of all, you need to be less condescending and stop being critical of technology others enjoy. Secondly, thanks for your advice to Americans, but we’re not all unhealthy and obese. Have a great day, go eat a cheeseburger and some fries. It might em help you lighten up. 😂
