    In this tutorial I show you how quick and easy you can make a twisted headband on a serger. I already have a tutorial for this same project but using only a sewing machine. You can view that one here: • Turban Inspired Headba... . In a recent LIVE chat several of you asked me if I could show you how to make it on a serger and here it is!
    Thanks for watching!

    This is a great incentive to use my serger. Poor baby sits in a corner unused most of the time. Thanks for sharing with us Vanessa. You have the best tutorials on TH-cam. .

    Lol! I got a serger for Christmas last year. It’s stil I’m the box. Lol! I need to pull it out and give it a go. Time truly flies by. I remember when you were pregnant with your daughter.

      Take it out the box! lol. You can do it. Find the manual and a youtube video on how to thread your specific make and model and go for it!

    I would love to get a serger but I don’t know what I would make with it. I’m not a garment maker. Thanks for an easy project. I have purchased my Jukis after watching your reviews. I’ll definitely be looking at this model. Do you have a review on it? Will you make more tutorials with sergers? I love your tutorials. I’ve learned so much from you over the years. Thank you!

    I wish I could figure out how to use my serger with two or three threads instead of four.

    • @TheCraftyGemini
      @TheCraftyGemini  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s really easy. Just take out one of the needles to do a 3 thread. Reference your user manual for 2 thread and rolled hem settings.

  • @montyollie
    @montyollie 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    There should be a blade on the back of your serger (as well as your sewing machine) for you to cut the thread at the end. You shouldn't have to bring it around the front and use the trimming blade.

    • @TheCraftyGemini
      @TheCraftyGemini  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This basic serger doesn't have the thread cutter. My other JUKI MO 1000 serger has it but I still prefer to cut my threads this way.
