- Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador gave away the contact information of a New York Times journalist during a press conference. This comes after the New York Times bureau in Mexico released a report regarding alleged efforts by U.S officials looking into possible ties between drug Cartels and Obrador's allies.

AMLO basically creamed the NYT and the Univision reporter. The whole video has the Univision reporter wanting sympaty and apology to the NYT reporter and whined about her safety. AMLO essentially told her “ you want to put false stories about me and my family bieng corrupt? About my sons bieng corrupt? Damaging our reputations for something that was a lie?” He was like, “here, you will be respectful. If she didnt want this to happen, maybe next time she will learn to be respectful and not put these slanderous articles out there. Xochitl Gálvez either forgets, or does not know, or does not want to recognize that during the governments of the PRI and the PAN, millions of Mexicans had to emigrate from Mexico because of the terrible economic policies of those parties. That's what I don't understand about this story. She put the phone number in the email. Her name is already public and in the article. If I'm not mistaken the phone number is for the NYT office in Mexico. It's not like it's her personal home phone number and even if it was, why put it in an email
@@jvanek8512Before the story was published these questions were sent to the president so he could comment on them and his response be put in the article. The reporter, given the importance of the story and the importance of the person she is questioning, put her personal number so she could be reached whenever. She did this thinking she was dealing with a serious person as she gave it with a basic expectation of privacy. Not only did AMLO not respond to her, he published the questions himself and attacked the reporter reading out loud her private number. There is a law in Mexico against this action, to this AMLO has responded that he is “above it”. The story is not slander, it is a report on an investigation that existed, found evidence, and was shelved because of the shitshow it would cause were it to lead to its obvious conclusion (as you have seen). AMLO is dangerous, and as is on video a lackey to the cartels that have destroyed the country and so many lives, shame on him and all those who defend him.
