you ever think about getting into arm wrestling? it would be an excellent sport to get into even at an older age and if you learn from people who know what they're doing injuries are very low.
Thank you very much. I have extremely small hands (I cannot do the hook grip because I cannot touch my thumb with my index finger when holding a bar) and so grip has always been an issue. I never thought about lifting the end of a bar. That is awesome because it can be progressively loaded. I like to do plate pinches, but going from two 25's to two 45's is a crazy jump. I am definitely going to add those.

I often do double overhand grip for warm up sets for my deadlift before I swtich to mix grip. Also, double overhand rack pull and keep it as long as possible. Next thing is, I carry 20/25kg bumper plates in each hand, some of them are really bulky and I can barely squeeze with my fingertips. So far I had 0 issues with grip, recently did my first powerlifting meet and grip was nowhere near failing me. I'm still rookie in terms of lifting heavy stuff, just 1.5 years of going to the gym, but from I've heard, grip is an thing that hits one day and there is no quick solution once it starts being a problem, so I'm adressing it right now.

Yep, I tend to carry with a pinch grip over the top of the plate. (racking, re-racking and carrying plates across the gym can be a workout in itself ! :-) )
I do truck pulls with a 2 inch rope in my sub division and you should see the looks I get haha. Great video sir. Do you have any fun exercises to strengthen the low back. I ruptured my achilles in January and my lower half has really taken some major steps backward.

Because the only 3 things I do is 1) Strongman 2) Power lifting 3) carry groceries.
Order is wrong. Groceries is the hardest grip exercise.
Its 1 trip from car to door or you have to rescind your man card.

Training with an 80 kg or 100 kg power twister also improves grip strength greatly !

2:54 Whenever I'm reracking plates especially if I'm have to carry the weight across the gym I like to do it using that grip
