Mr. Best, during summer 2019 I hurt my lower back during some random activity, which left me almost paralyzed for few weeks due to sciatica pain. During that time, I found some YT movies with your performance and was really impressed that man 21 yrs older than me can move heavy things (doing this whole his life) while I keep on having lower back problems actually trying to protect it! I started watching your performances and also started powerlifting to build strong core that would protect my back. Now, here I am, 1.5 year later feeling better than ever, not experiencing back pain anymore and still looking up to you for an inspiration. I used to have lower back pain all the time until I did this one thing . I started sleeping with my legs on a big pillow . When I am relaxing on the bed I always have it under me . That is my one tip to anyone who has lower back pain . Also Zercher Squats or Front squats work my core more than any exercise I will have to remember to add them in with my training , and side bends are another great one .

deadlifts fixed my back once i got to 250lbs for a few reps. with belt nothin i do during the day puts that much pressure on my back now i am at 375 lbs and can not remember last time i hurt it

So what do.you recommend for someone, like myself, who has severe arthritis in the lower back, due to broken lumbar bones in May of 2017? I already see a chiropractor and physical therapist.

Zerchers are worth a million. I first saw Phil Daru program these for MMA guys. I am glad to hear a real strength athlete give them the seal of approval. Super safe. Just drop it.
I don’t like zercher squats either. I spent a lot of time doing them (around 6 months) and at one point my left arm went numb for a week. I’ve never done any zercher exercise since.
No. Because you can't lean forward. Look at his back angle at the bottom position :) If you dont lean forward the hips are not as involved It doesn't hurt to hold it in your elbows. Or... You'll get used to it pretty fast :p

It doesn't hurt to hold it in your elbows. Or... You'll get used to it pretty fast :p
