Hey girl hey. I use the exact same 3 oils in my hair, except I use them as a hot oil prepoo. Plastic cap, go under the dryer for 30 minutes, shampoo out, deep condition for 30 minutes, rinse, leave-in and dry. I know I'm extra, but it's my routine, been doing it for years. Your hair is beautiful.

My third relaxer was today and now my hair is in good shape. No more raggedy ends , no more under processed areas and the big thing now is it’s growing!!! Those three oils are a big part of my hair care journey.

I recommend giving Babassu oil a try if you haven’t. It’s similar to coconut oil but better tolerated by some. They say it penetrates even deeper than coconut. That and pumpkin seed and grapefruit is my current favorites. Pumpkin and Babassu will always be but I switch around. Avocado I love , Olive at small doses. I just love oils. It’s the only thing that keeps my 50+ hair thriving. That and indigo/henna for grays. Thank you for sharing.

I've been using your washing and deep conditioning method weekly for about 18 months now. It works. As of late though I'm product hesitant between olaplex, as I am, protein and others and my schedule of when to do things is off. Like I was doing a perm every three months but I discovered for my hair it's too long of a stretch. So, as of late I'm trying to listen to my hair and what it wants but I feel like different battles arise like Chlorine in our water due to boil water notice or incoming gray hairs. I've gone from shoulder length hair and I'm almost back to my high school length. Which is just shy of Bra strap length. I do think as I am getting older my hair requirements are changing.. Thank for your videos. They truly are educational and helpful. 🥰💓

Hi Val! I’ll try these. I have a little gray coming in which I’m loving and embracing, these oils -avocado and olive tend to have a hint of green to them, and one thing I have learned is that gray hair stains easily so in an effort to keep my white hair bright, I tend to use only white or clear products on my hair. I discovered your channel during the beginning of pandemic when my salon was shut down, and while I was researching what’s good/not good for gray hair and relaxed hair. Anyway, I have found a clear olive oil so I’ll use that with vitamin E oil which is cleat along with the coconut! Thank you! Appreciate your advice!! 👍🏾

Anyways I did this method yesterday exact with the exception of-: I used design essentials almond shampoo and conditioner same oils you used same amount but I dont airdry I roller set. I loved the end result my new growth is like butter did I mention I haven't relaxed 16 weeks now due to our country lockdown because of covid. But let me tell you Val AKA hairlious this method works. @@djm2985 I use it as part of my deep conditioning/conditioner process with heat the same as you would with any deep conditioner......
If I don't use TGIN Honey Miracle Hair Mask ....... I use Olive Oil, Honey and Amla Powder mixed together. Keep in mind the olive oil separates from the Honey and Powder, so you have to keep shaking (if you use a applicator bottle) or if you use a bowl, you dip your hand tru the oil to get the Honey and Powder and after just rub the oil on your hair..
Hope that makes sense how I explained it

Hello, thank you for the amazing contents you have been making. I recently started using s-curl after watching your video and it has been great. Today I had a full wash day with protein treatment. After my deep conditioning, my hair was very soft and beautiful, but after applying the s-curl it became hard and I couldn't comb through. I wanted to know if its as a result of the protein treatment and if so, what should I do when next I'm using a protein treatment on my hair?

I’ve been using these oils and I have seen a big improvement in the condition and volume of my hair. I just purchased the big tub of the conditioner and the bottle of the leave in, since my hair has been a bit dry and frizzy lately. Can you do an update on hair care for post- blow dry or in between washes? I would love to know what you’re currently using.
