- Today, we will show you how to make crispy wings on a weber kettle. Let's face it, crispy wings are the best. Nobody wants to bite into a soggy wing. It's football season again so tailgating food is on the menu. These grilled wings can be just as crispy as fried wings but with a kiss of smoke!

Love it! We could use that rain in southern Kansas so send it this way! I love the briquettes but plan to use them in my mini max (that I don't yet have) for camping but keep the lump for my large BGE. Now just to order the FOGO black bag.
That is exactly my plan Carolyn. The MiniMax is perfect for the new briquets!
Way to brave the elements for us captain
I am not afraid to sacrifice for you, my people....
Once again Captain Ron comes through. Rain or shine he is always on time. Those that know choose #Fogo
Nor wind nor rain nor dark of night......
At the end of the cook, I like to place the wings over direct heat to get a little char on the skin.
Oh heck yeah, I do that sometimes as well. We actually hit upon that in a few of our other wings videos.
Looks amazing 🔥 🔥
Thanks BBQ Fam!
Muy simpático 😮😮😮
Gracias!
I’m team Flat!
Just another reason why I luv ya so much
A great "fun" cook! How long before Weber and BGE have an attachment. Open the lid and a deflector attaches and protects the cook. Love me some crispy wings!
Great idea! Actually, BGE makes a rain cap for just such emergencies.
Looking forward to seeing you @ Grillfest this Saturday in Hartville.
Outstanding. I am counting the days. Please make sure to stop me and say hi.
A little rain won't stop @cptnron302 from making some crispy game day chicken wings!
Great job Captain Salt Bae! I'm a flats guy, but I'm sure with your rain water marinade, the drums are excellent as well!
Salt Bae.... I'd have to kick my own ass. LOL, thaks for always being awesome my bud
Look at this this way, you don't have to take a shower now! It does rain in Fl.
Oh Keith, I didn't have to shower, it wasn't Saturday yet......that's shower day. LOLOLOL
The captains gone kettle let’s go!!
I like to cook on everything!!!
Captain, I love your acting even if it is tin grill, not the proper Egg.
LOL, thanks for the support
Air drying is the key to that great crispy skin
I know that you know that I know that that is a fact
Thanks for sharing. Hopefully you can get with ace hardware. Tell them to start ordering that charcoal no stores have it in stock here in South Florida specifically Broward county.
Which stores have you been to? Ask them to stock it. Let them know that it is already in their warehouse
Hey captain thanks for this. So I'm thinking of doing some wings in my KJ Joe Junior. Would u cook at 375-400 with the deflector on or naked grill (assume white coals) .. any thoughts? Cheers Adam
I like wings indirect. You could finish them over the coals for an extra crisp
Too much caffeine. Had to turn off volume.
@@alliehunter9896 ok, sorry
