I just got this exact Soundbar about 2 weeks ago. I think it sounds great! At least, it does in our living room. Being a bit of a “sound guy” and musician that loves tweaking around with EQ levels, crossovers and time alignment so the sound hits you at the right time, I thought not having all these settings might be disappointing. But no. Just the opposite. I kind of wanted a more simplistic approach for our home theater setup. This Soundbar has a great sound and tone to it just as it comes. You can adjust the up firing Atmos speakers, rear speakers and subwoofer volumes to suit your room and that ever so slightly can alter the EQ and how it sounds just by adjusting it to your room. So far, the wireless, detachable speakers have worked flawlessly and sound great. And the calibration feature ACTUALLY works to optimize the tone, surround and Atmos space to your room. Imagine that. Software that actually works!

Hy there! I have this soundbar for almost one year now..... Very pleased with it . Great sound , quality and design. I will recommend for sure. I have it plugged to my TV at all times and it great to have the rear speakers next to my ears so l don't need to put TV volume on higher to hear... specially at night time . 👍

I had this system since launch. I love it for the most part but I do wish it had app support or a more robust remote. It's just way too simple. It's missing some features that were on my old Sony 5.1 wireless system like like HDMI passthrough. There is only one input only as well. Unfortunately the Bar 9.1 isn't really that great for music listening as well. It could play Atmos music but a Sonos setup will sound better at 2-3x the cost tho. 😁

@@abtelectronics are you sure it's Bluetooth? I'm thinking they they're running off a 2.4GHz frequency.
When I was switching my ISP and got a different gateway I noticed that my rear speakers kept losing connection. I realized that this happened right after the switch as they were fine for over a year now. I changed the 2.4GHz frequency from 20MHz to 40MHz and it resolved the issue. I was close to shipping them out to my extended warranty company too! Lucky I didn't or they would've found nothing wrong with a perfectly condition sound bar. I avoided the possible service wear and tear.

I recently watched The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies extended edition and they played fine the whole movie, and still played a few more days before needed to recharge. That being said, I would expect these detachable speakers for the 9.1 unit also last +5 years at least.
