    I opted for the Ti... pretty happy with it. It shows scratches like the stainless, but can be buffed out if you get the raw finish. SS was a bit on the heavier side for me since I'm very active and preferred the lighter weight. I upgraded from a SS series 5 to the series 7 Ti... although he sapphire crystal isn't pure, I prefer it over the scratch prone ion glass of the aluminum series.

    I once had a SS and found it far too heavy. I definitely noticed it was there, especially if I was active. Have been aluminum ever since but wanted something slightly dressier so just got the titanium. It arrives tomorrow :)

    Thank you for a no-nonsense, short video that gets straight to the point, instead of stretching it out to 10+ mins of filler for more ad breaks. It's refreshing when creators make videos that are only as long as they need to be. Nice lighting, camera work and production values too. Based on your comparison and clear footage, I will be picking up a previous gen titanium watch to add to my collection.

    I have stainless steel original 0 and 4 with a black ss , all second hand, all are great! The sapphire glass is so hard to scratch and in the rare event you get a scratch cheap diamond paste removes them same with the silver case, yes they scratch but are super easy to get out unlike aluminium

I’ve always had aluminum because I liked the weight but this year I didn’t like the aluminum colours & felt like giving Titanium a try. How’s the Space Black casing holding up? I keep seeing posts about the regular titanium getting scratched but they brush them out but I know the Space Black can’t be buffed. So just curious how you’ve found it? If they made better aluminum colors when I bought mine, I’m sure I would’ve gone for that one. I just hated the gold aluminum on the series 6 (the series I have) because it’s pink, not gold. The stainless steel one was definitely more than I was hoping to spend, especially for my first Apple Watch, but I don’t regret my decision! I absolutely love how classy and elegant it looks! Not to mention it’s actually a real gold color, unlike the past series that were bronze or rose gold. I wasn’t a fan of the other aluminum colors either, as they didn’t match my gold jewelry I always wear. Definitely worth the high price tag!

    I think aluminum is the best. They don’t look as flashy as the shinier ones, and they’re lightweight. Flashy isn’t bad, but it’s not a good idea to have an $800 watch on your wrist everywhere you go.. easy way to get robbed. The midnight aluminum one looks fancy but subtle, lightweight so it’s basically good for jogging and to go out

  • @thestormlscoming
    @thestormlscoming 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    At first I was leaning towards the gold stainless steel but I learned that it's not really a gold color at all, so then I was thinking black, and the titanium seems to be the only black one. I thought at that pricetag it would be more durable and not scratch as easily, but based on the comments here, that doesn't seem to be the case? So now I'm back to not knowing what to do. I hate silver but might have to go with stainless steel silver

      As a active user (had Series 2 and Series 4) I would extremely agree with you. No need to invest $700+ for something which loses price extremely fast. So only I would not agree 4-5 years. It does not last that long :) My series 2 battery died faster. Also, my Series 4 just died recently after I went to pool. I did it multiple times - all was good. But this time something went wrong (no help from apple besides: you can order replacement fro $400... ). I'm so pissed on them. Absolutely ideal watches, no extra damage, nothing... Great video. Ive had every single Apple Watch since they first landed. Stainless Steel has for the most part been my go to but this year - Series 7, I opted for the the Edition range in the Titanium. Have to say, the Titanium version is so so nice. All the benefits of the weight of Aluminium with the strength of the Stainless Steel. The fact you get an additional sport band in an exclusive colour for the Edition range along with the band you choose adds to the appeal. I also added the Stainless Steel Milanese loop and the matt finish Link Bracelet with it. Together they just look impressive. Overall with new watch face again exclusive to the Series 7 I’m very happy with this model. The Titanium for me looks the best out of the 3.

Yeah it's slightly heavier than the AL but that doesn't bother me, feels more robust, and after a while you don't notice it. And I have a watch cover on it that goes around the watch to protect it from scratches. It's black - so doesn't really matter what color AW I get because I never take that cover off, and you cannot tell. I think the advantage for the Aluminum is not only cheaper, but the different colors. But if you protect it with a cover - that doesn't matter. I think I'll upgrade to the 7 series SS w/ Cellular

    Personally feel like the titanium is the classiest looking. I will stick with the aluminum though, cause I’m going to put a bumper on it anyway. I work with my hands and lift weights several times a week. Plus when I see people with the more expensive ones they’re usually people with soft, non working hands and I’m not that guy 😂

    I would only keep the watch for 3 years at most. The $300 I save by buying the aluminum is a huge down payment on my next watch. It doesn't make sense to pay more than you need to for a 3 year investment.

    Yes the Titanium cost $100 more than SS but you also get an extra $49 exclusive watch band so ummmm its really only $50 more.
