I was shoveling snow and the snow shovel slip and went flying into the snow and of course I went flying too into the snow on my back. Right then my watch said I’ve noticed you have fallen are you ok? I said yes Siri I’m fine! I got up and she ask me again are you sure your ok I can call Ems ! I said do not call ems.
Omg this is amazing. I’m for sure upgrading to the 7.

One thing I didn’t mention was that I had Piriformis syndrome, which is like sciatica on Steroids. I could hardly walk and I was using the shovel as a stabilizing device . Which wasn’t the smartest thing to do! That is why I fell so easily. But the watch worked and asked me if I needed assistance.

Apple Watch is revolutionary - makes life easy with this little things
Thanks Gary! I’m paralyzed with one arm and fell last year breaking my tibia and fibula. Both Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa products cannot dial Emergency Services (Yay me!). Having used Apple products since my Mac Plus in 1989, the Apple Watch has interested me but I wasn’t sure if I could access the crown, button or even the screen well enough. Your clip on the Accessibility features sealed the deal. I’m not going to bother waiting on the Series 8 and just placed my Series 7 order which will be here this Tuesday.

WOw Gary some very priceless tips! I hate having to unlock my Macs with my password of Touch ID everytime I want to reopen them that alone saves a lot of hassle. I was also unaware of the depth of Find My on the watch and the view screen for pictures is the icing on the Apple cake. Great video!

The camera control tips are gonna be game changers! Did you know if you hold the button for 3 seconds to find your phone on your watches control center that it also flashes the light on the back!

Clinching to take pictures!!! First time a videos that says “things you didn’t know” actually though me something I’ll use all the time. First complication on my watch is the Camera control, clinch twice to activate the assistant, clinch once to activate the camera, clinch again to take a selfie. Brillant man!!!!

Smart gestures are cool but quick actions is the way of the future for the Apple Watch, I use them every day, no longer do you need to use two hands to answer a phone call, or close a notification, best feature in Watch OS 9 in my opinion!

does the watch locationer work with the mag safe wallet ?
They used to allow your watch to unlock Notes with a passcode lock on your Mac but that seemed to get taken away with one of the Big Sur updates and was never brought back to Monterey. Miss that feature.

I use hand gestures while prep and cooking food,specially if my hands are in dough or touching raw meat, I like to set multiple timers, of course you can just ask Siri and is faster lol but when you’re trying to be quiet is a good option; the timer just vibrate on your wrist and then you stop it with a doble clench. Taadaa 😄. And you can also restart it, set another etc etc.

Great Tips! When you scroll up on your watch face to ping your iPhone, you can also hold that "ping button" and your iPhone's flashlight will also go off.

The handiest tip was the notify if I leave something behind. I’d known about but never set it up. I tied the hand gestures but it was a pita so I don’t use it.

Hey Gary, I’ve been thinking about buying an Apple Watch and I’m not sure if I should buy one right now or wait until a new one is out, or wait it out? Will there be a price drop to the older models?
I got mine (s7) a month ago and I keep telling everyone that it is the gadget I didnt know I needed. It makes everything so convenient and I love the Apple Fitness + trainings. I highly recommend everyone to get one. I suggest to get the braided loops, more comfortable IMHO, but the price is stupid for such a simple accessory.

I wish apple would do the gestures like the old android watches. The moto 360 we could navigate just twisting the wrist. It was awesome.

@@edm2822 Ah yes, from the 2 either the 6 or 7 will be great and are essentially the same minus the 1mm size. So, I'd go with the one that is a better deal or if you get the 7, the keyboard (barely usable) and one more complication on some watch faces.

Hand gestures seem to be broken when in the honeycomb menu
I’m a singer. I have my mic and kit in a holdall. I have an AirTag inside it. Once I left the house in my car to go to a gig and about 2 minutes later my watch told me I left it behind. Without it I would have arrived at the venue 20 miles away with no equipment! And as for pinging my phone when I lose it.. don’t even go there how many times I’ve used it 🤣

welp i use these all the time
You don’t need to tap the screen with 2 fingers to let the watch tell you the time.
You need to put 2 fingers on the screen and hold them there.
So why do all the pundits not bring this up when they talk about the Apple laptops. No FaceID who cares just get an Apple Watch. Use it all the time with my new Apple MacBook Air that replaced my 2014 27-inch 5K iMac on which I also used this feature.
for me iPhone 11 pro unlocking with apple watch series 7 doesn't work, no matter what I tried with all the suggestions I found online.

Correction: Videos can’t be taken through the Watch.
None of these problems are enough to spend that amount of money on a watch tbh. Especially when Apple Pay doesn't work in our country.
