I’ve worn bold earrings and hoops for plus years. The same is true for rings. My rings aren’t oversized but they are larger than many are comfortable wearing. I love my bold cuffs. My jewelry is almost exclusively artisan crafted or vintage. At 69 I don’t see my style changing vastly. I’m rather glad to see the trends catching up with me!😉
To me, hoops ARE classic. I have three different sizes and designs in gold and the same for silver. 😊😊 I do occasionally wear colored stone pieces , diamonds, and pearls. 😊
The advantage to being 72 and a life long jewelry lover is that I have just about every type of piece you showed and still love them all! Now I can break out all my statement baubles from the '90s and enjoy them again!.Except pearls. Never my thing. Too '50s "good girl" as opposed to '60s hippie! Glad I stumbled upon your video!
@@jaygeecee13 beauty is in all kinds of jewelry. Not necessarily to wear, but to also admire as an art form. I have pieces that I've never worn and some I've worn only once. Thank you, Anna. Hello from New Zealand. I love the 80s too and think they were the best decade (maybe because it was my 20s decade). It was so much fun that everyone made an effort to look good.
Carol, thank you for sharing these trends with us. I love all of them. I love pearls, and I embrace the mixed metals. My favorite has to be the BROOCHES! Bring them on. I have collected a few and just ordered a bee pin or brooch. Cannot wait to wear a few of them from my collection together. Yours are awesome. Really love the bird one. I have a sparkly fox and a sparkly salamander pin. Oh what fun!
Oh a sparkly fox sounds wonderful. I bought the bird brooch at a craft market where they had an amazing second hand jewellery stall - I could have spent a fortune but I had to restrict myself to one piece. This was my favourite. I'm glad you enjoyed the video - some pearl tutorials coming up soon. Thank you.
I really like layered chains, mixed metal and pearls. One idea I’ve used in the past is to attach a brooch to your necklace. I’ve always used this idea, mostly using vintage pieces but you could add a flowered brooch and bring in the flower trend but not totally commit to it. Thus allowing yourself to have a simple daytime style and a dressy evening style. Also, it is not a total commitment to the flowered style so when it is no longer ‘in’ you still have a beautiful pearl or chain necklace.
Thank you Anne. If you look closely at the necklace in the background of my video, you will see the necklace with the flower - that's actually a brooch that I attached to the necklace. Great idea and maybe one I should share with my audience. I have been thinking about the layered chains look and how I can adopt it too.
Thank you Leanne. I've got a pretty thick skin. I don't think the comments were meant to be mean, they just didn't agree with me and that's OK. Thank you for your loyalty though. I really like that you love my designs.@@LeanneLEANNEO
When I saw that big flower I though, "don't crush me under a coat" LOL. I once did a twisted bean necklace of the colours of this fur brooch I had. I sold it right away to the owner of the store I sell at. Convertable jewellery is a good thing to do especially for people with low budgets and for people who travel and want to change it up but not bring their full jewellery collection.
I love BIG when it’s in style or out! Mix gold and silver always. I also wear many bracelets and necklaces together. The only piece of jewelry I wear that’s small is a gold cross. I fit right in this year 🎉❤️Great video!
Hello Carol thanks for the trends. I’m more of a quiet luxury girl and I like brooches too. Just wanted to say you look stunning in that shy blue colour. Shows off your eyes perfectly 😊
Aw, thank you so much. If you're keen to make it, here's the tutorial: th-cam.com/video/IcRHg3E7_DQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aAznyixAMe510Exd It would look great made from different sized pearls.
Carol I LOVE your necklace!!! It SO compliments your denim shirt and your complexion color!! I MUST make one of my own!! You are such an inspiration for us out here, I LOVE watching you!! You are so fun and friendly, you make me wish I lived next door to you! I wish you'd do longer tutorials so I can listen to your kind, friendly, soothing and fun voice! Thank you for all you do!! You are a joy to watch! And as for your top trends for 2024, I'm old enough that I don't really care what's on trend😉. I wear what I want and what looks good on me, trendy or not! But I love that you give us the latest! Thank you!!
Thank you, Sue. I would disagree - you are never too old for fashion! Ha ha. My shirt is actually a dress that I made using a Mood Fabrics pattern (www.moodfabrics.com/blog/the-xryis-dress-free-sewing-pattern/). The necklace was a tutorial I did late last year (th-cam.com/video/IcRHg3E7_DQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o-P52ZcOIKuihtSq). If you like you can always put on a playlist - TH-cam will play my videos in a playlist consecutively.
Thank you so much for researching everything for us! I have worn pearls in quiet luxury for a long time. I love all of your tutorials, especially the one on ugly crimp beads! They are my demise! You are a joy to watch and make learning fun. I have learned so much from your channel! Thank you again!!
Thank you Corrinne. I collect them wherever I find them. Did you see my latest video about the brooches? th-cam.com/video/D5U6WtfS4bU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9O4UNKfGDKZSbmp3
Thank you so much, Charisse. In my heart I love the quiet luxury but in my head I know that it doesn't work for me. I'm much more of an edgy, boho girl.
Thank you so much Alexis. I've also been watching some updated trend videos. It's always interesting and everyone you watch has a different perspective. It's good we aren't all the same. 😃
Thanks Carol for this fun & informative trends report. Your presentations are enjoyable & I love your personality! As a “ woman of a certain age”, I won’t be wearing uber large pieces of any jewelry. I have worn mixed metals for years & love them as well as the classic, timeless, elegant & understated pieces of gold or silver with pearls or gems. I inherited a large brooch collection so I’m all over this trend ! I love flowers but they can be tricky to incorporate into wearable designs. Have a lovely day! Eve
Thank you Eve. How lucky to have a large collection of brooches. I'm sure you will enjoy wearing them in a collection. I agree that flowers can be a bit tricky. Did you watch my giant flower brooch tutorial? It was a bit of fun! th-cam.com/video/D5U6WtfS4bU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M6zeE1JG4K0OVQ2t
It’s so sweet of you to answer your followers! Just shows what a kind person you are! My sis had a good friend from Australia that was in the antiquing business especially jewelry. She was confident, colorful, bold in her attire, personality , jewelry & approach to life. She wore her hair short & kind of spikey too. So there’s something in your water!! LOL I will take a look at your flower video . Thanks for your time. Be well. Eve
I’m not a trend-follower at all, but I love this content. It’s fun to see what’s “now”. ❤ If I had to pinpoint a signature in accessories, for me, it’s yellow. Just one little pop of yellow just makes my heart happy… a belt, a hat, a hair bow, etc. 💛💛💛
Thank you so much. I know what you mean. It's also a little hard on this end when the seasons, etc are different to the bulk of my audience. I really appreciate your support.
I really enjoyed this video Carol so much so that I've subscribed...also have had a look-see at some of your tutorials and they look fabulous! I'll be making all sorts of wonderful jewellery soon with your help, and I'm so happy I found your video! Thank you!

Thank you Leanne. Yes, just ideas of what's about right now. I just love to look at what's trending and decide whether or not I want to adopt it or whether it works for my style. Some of what I've shown in this video I would never wear!
LOVE this video! I intuited these were happening... but to see it confirmed and categorized so clearly is really gratifying, and grounding. I went back to Walmart to get those stickers and turn them into oversized gold pendants.
My gfs (the trance-hippies, Toronto 2010-ish) were really big on the one-long-earring thing (usually one long feather, or a feather chain) coupled with a stud in the other ear. I still have a very dramatic red one.
Im just getting back into beading (after 15 years) and really enjoy your channel. I have a underbed storage box of gemstones (many junky) and all sizes and colors of pearls (and crystals). I would LOVE if you could do tutorials using these elements!
Thank you for watching, Pamela. Beading is such fun. I'm glad you're enjoying it again. I don't use many gemstones in my jewellery, not a deliberate decision, just the way it works out. As far as pearls are concerned, I have done a few pearl tutorials. Here's a link to the playlist. th-cam.com/play/PLPf_M492CDQPhacJmZXcUFGOvlvPGt_TE.html
Aw, thank you so much. This is actually a dress that I made from a Mood Fabrics pattern. It has a bit of a story behind it - I made in darker denim and it looked terrible so I bleached it. It was a fun experiment but a bit nerve raking. 😀
Love your earrings. love the broaches you are wearing and how you placed them. Even the green broach went so pretty with the two blue ones. You have a great palate eye vision. Exquisite taste you have.
Thank you so much. If you would like to make the earrings, here's the tutorial - they are part of the 8 pairs of earrings you can make in 5 minutes video. They are super easy to make. th-cam.com/video/TMpxEiiTWKk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hX-hs0OuSDCS-RyY
Thank you for the work you've done bringing this to us. It's fun to watch styles cycle through and maybe be inspired to create something new to add to my own collection! ⚘
I'm definitely the "classic" trend! I love pearls, gold, simple pieces with small rings. My one breakout piece years ago, that I still love, is an asymmetrical pair of earrings...one stud with a long drop. Very Art Deco, bronzey and fun. Not me usually but a very fun statement while still in a classic style.
Thank you, Annie. That's very interesting. My classic side (the tiny bit that's left) still finds it impossible to wear asymmetrical anything. I'm glad you enjoy this trend.
Yay! I've been holding on to a few dozen old brooches for like...20 years😂. I recycled old and new beads and used the brooches for pendants. I also have a ton of cool little pins. I too, have them all over my denim jacket. ❤. Funny, I was just about to sell all my old stuff on ebay, but now you got me thinking...😅
Nooo! Don't do that. I've actually been thinking that I should keep everything (hoarder!) as everything comes back around. Love brooches, always will. Wear them and have fun!
Great Channel just found you. I Live the many stackable rings but nothing beats a big old Barnabus ring ! Look forward to scrolling through your content. Love your style ! Thank You
Aw, thank you so much. I would love to wear lots of rings but my fingers aren't the right shape 😀 Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy the tutorials.
Loved this video and the pace you adopted. I think the confident woman wears what suits her and doesn't give a care to "trends." Fortunately for me, I have a huge jewelry collection, so I have a bit of it all.
I do agree with this. These videos are a bit of fun. I also like to adapt the trends to my personal style as well. It's fine to stay current but you still need to be yourself.
Hello! It is my first time tuning in to your channel and the reason why this video caught my eye is because I make jewelry and thought it would be useful to be up to date with trends for 2024. I usually make jewelry that is delicate and dainty. If I am to keep up with the trends that you are describing, I guess that I should probably make bigger and eye-catching jewelry. Your video is really well done and I enjoyed it! I like your jewelry-wearing style although that would not be for me. Thanks for sharing the trends for 2024!
Thank you so much, Chantal. If you go with the quiet luxury trend then delicate and dainty is definitely in. That's not my jam so I didn't focus on that but there's definitely a lot of jewellery out there that meets this criteria.
That's so true, Bernadette. When I filming this week's tutorial (to be released tomorrow) I was thinking back to the 80s and wearing large flowers everywhere was a trend.
GREAT list! Super Informative, not a minute wasted, you get us right to the point and I like how you give your honest POV on how each trend relates to you! You love flower jewelry? I didnt realize it before but now I get it. Searched everywhere for a WEARABLE jewelry trend video to no avail until you came along. Gracias from Baja California, México.
Thank you so much, Anamaria. Hello from New Zealand. I'm so pleased that you liked this one. Yes, I have bought a large flower to make a brooch out of, now I just need to find the time!
Love that large brooches are trending. I make silk flower and other style brooches. After watching your tutorials, I am going to see what I can do with adding chains and Pearl's and beads to some of my brooches. I will let you know how they turn out.
Thank you, Pat. I think that's why I can't get into the asymmetrical earrings trend too - I love symmetry. Interesting how we are all different. There will be more pearl tutorials coming up this year!
Thanks for the trend updates! I gravitate towards classic styles but will add a trend piece or two that makes a statement and compliments my personal individualism. I loved to see that brooches are making a comeback. Wearing multiple pins at a time is something that I may try.
Hello Carol, I loved this video. Having said that, I do prefer doing my own thing and wear what I like. I've always loved colour and experimenting with colour and design, so if I happen to own one, two or more of the top 12 trend list for 2024 or not, I will still stick to my style.
Thank you, Brenda. Yes, I think you can take the trends and choose whether to adopt them or not, if they fit your style. I love colour so some of the trends right now just don't work for me.
Just discovered your channel & subscribed. I’m working towards starting a “wearable” jewelry line as a side business but also because I like tapping into my creative energy. And your info is so insightful. Looking forward to learning more of your techniques. And I love these fashion trend videos.
Thank you so much, Terrie. I think the trends this year are very interesting. Here's a link to the necklace I'm wearing in the video. th-cam.com/video/IcRHg3E7_DQ/w-d-xo.html
I love this video! Keeps us up on what’s on trend. Im an 80s girl and this is all right up my alley! I love one huge earring and a small one in the other ear. ❤ and brooches… don’t get me started😂
Thank you so much Shea. I think at my heart, I'm probably an 80s girl as well. Yep, brooches are amazing and I don't understand why more people don't love them! 😀
Thank you so much, Kathy. I have been thinking about how I can bring you more like this. Here's a link to the necklace that I'm wearing in the video. th-cam.com/video/IcRHg3E7_DQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xDhML6by4LgxkeqV
Thanks so much for this trends list! I love watching all the videos about trends. I don't necessarily follow them for myself but it's fun to see if what i do is "trendy". I also make jewelry and things to sell so i like to see what people might be looking for. I don't necessarily follow them as they are, but i try to incorporate a few things in what i make. I'm happy to see that hoops and ear cuffs have cycled back around as i have some cuff designs I've been working on. I love a good statement ring but like you only wear them outside of the house as they get in the way of everyday activities. Love your denim dress! My style has changed quite a bit as i get older. I'm a lot more bolder than I used to be.
Thank you, Donna. I was thinking about why my style has changed so much over the years the other day and I agree, it's because I'm bolder and more confident now than I was in my 20s. Isn't it a shame that we have to wait until our 50s and 60s (for me anyway) to gain enough confidence to show who we really are.
That's very cool, Deborah. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not sure why I feel I couldn't do that. Interesting that we all have differing opinions on this. It would be very boring if we were all the same.
Thank you so much. I agree, it's fun, especially for someone like me who loves pearls but they don't really fit with my style, to be able to reimagine them in a different way. Have fun!
I love them all! Trends cycle, in all things, and the single or asymmetrical earring is one that was rampant in the eighties! As a woman with a round face, I love that this is back!
I love Dior with the pearls and butterflies. Trends can be invaluable for the small business woman who's looking to sell her creations. No need to copy something exactly. Put your own spin on it and be proud of it! ❤
I love the pearl and flower and the broaches ( did I spell that right) love your styles and how easy you make things work. I've learned a lot from you. thank you
I am so happy about these trends! I loved 11/12 of these trends; #2 - monochrome dressing - is something I rarely do, probably because plus-sized clothing in anything other than black is few and far between. Other than that one, I am in love with the rest. You asked what kind of rings we like: my day to day rings are my wedding set on my left hand and a white and rose gold diamond modern (read not huge and gaudy) cluster ring. For going out in the evening, I love a good statement ring, and I have collected some really beautiful ones. My favourite kind is a rough cut stone, and I have an emerald ring from Columbia and a turquoise ring from Mexico.
I love this content it’s so hard to find supplies and tutorials in products related to making your own pieces. Love this so happy I found it please more more more.
What a fantastic look into 2024 jewellery! So excited about the flowers! I just love incorporating nature inspired elements into my wardrobe 😍 💕 Would be so greatly appreciative for any flower tutorials 😊. May I also say the jewellery your wearing is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for such a wonderful video, I am very much looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us. Oooohh, and statement earrings as well, how fun is that one! 🎉❤

Thank you Kimberly. You've really just got to take the plunge and put a few on and see what happens. I often lie my jacket down and place them before I put them on, take it off and reposition if I don't like it. Go for it!
Thank you so much. It's actually a dress that I made using a Mode Fabrics pattern - here's the link if you are interested. www.moodfabrics.com/blog/the-xryis-dress-free-sewing-pattern/
Hi from Texas. I am older so I attempt not to wear real heavy earrings because everything seems to start dragging 🙃. I do like the jewelry you have on. Thank you. Getting old is not for sissies.
Hello Connie from New Zealand. I agree that getting old is not for sissies (it sucks!). You could try using acrylic beads instead of glass for your earrings. They are much lighter.
I like most of the trends and thank you for researching them. Love that brooches are back as I have so many and some great ones from my mother's and MIL that I inherited that are at least 75 years old. I do sales at Senior facilities and even though I love statement earrings, the ladies like the simpler ones. (A t 75 guess I qualify as a senior) Your outfit in this video is terrific, loved all the pieces your wearing.
Thank you so much, Rosane. I absolutely love vintage brooches and pick them up whenever I see them. I understand regarding the rings. I struggle with any rings, let alone statement ones. Used to the "1 Earring" style in my younger years. Or one big dangling one on one side, and a stud in the other. Loved that back then, will be totally going back to this!
I love some of the trends, and some not! I have ALWAYS been a Pearl girl! It’s my birthstone plus, I’m a Southerner & pearls are always in style here! The huge necklace was way too big. But, a moderate sized piece with the right outfit I would & have done! I love your channel! I was in a store this weekend in Rosemary Beach, Florida that had a leather necklace made with pearl & aquamarine stones that was stunning. I’ll DM you the picture! I have several short strands of large pearl necklaces I want to take apart and rework! I love the ear cuffs!!
Thank you so much, Melissa. Can't wait to see the necklace you are talking about. You can always email me too. Yes, I love pearls but they don't always work with my style. I'm glad that they are now a little more edgy so I can wear them again.
Thanks a lot, Carol for all the research that went into making this video. I love it, it is highly inspiring. Please make another one like this for 2025 😊.
Thank you, Diana. I love to watch the trends but just take what works for me. The rest I just leave behind. I've got a capsule wardrobe video coming up in a couple of days.
Thank you so much, Phyllis. Nice that you missed me. Yes, I have been experimenting a bit with neutrals - my best neutral is white and I can wear it with just touches of colour but I do need some colour.
Great content. New subscriber immediately. Not sure if I will embrace all the trends as am only 4ft 8 ! I love the quiet luxury and the pearls as well. I was about to get rid of some pearl costume jewellery but luckily you stopped me. 🙏🏻
I like all the trends that you covered. I have been working on layering necklaces, but according to one of your photos, I should add more. lol And happy to see that brooches are still a thing since I sell vintage ones. Thanks for this video.
Thank you, Kathleen. I don't think vintage brooches ever really go out of style but, like you, I'm happy that they are still on trend. Yes, I have been wearing multiple necklaces together - I think it depends on the necklaces. Simple chains, wear more, but beaded necklaces 2-3 works best, in my opinion, unless, of course, you are going for the over stated / over sized trend then wear as many as you possibly can!
I love videos like this one so more would be wonderful! I enjoy finding it what is supposed to be a new trend and take what i like to make it my own and discard the rest 😁
Thank you so much, Pat. Yes, I agree that there's some things on trend this year that we can create using what we have. I love that idea. Even though I make a new piece of jewellery every week, I do love thrifting and reusing old pieces. I often take things apart and remake them.
Thank you so much. Yes, I do the same. You really need to feel comfortable in what you wear and express your individuality but you can still do that while keeping current.
Great information about trends! So glad about the brooches - I love making them and have quite a collection building. So many opportunities with beading to fit these trends too! Love the jewellery your wore today - fantastic! ❤

Ha ha, love that, Helen! I'm a bit the same as I tend to do my own thing while keeping an eye on the trends too.
I'm with you! Everyone should wear what makes them happy, always and not worry about what fashion designers are dictating! 😃
I just turned 70, and I feel the same as you. I wear what I wear and actually get compliments at times. Stay you.

Thank you so much, Susan. You know I love the brooches. I have been thinking about how I can bring you more of this type of content. Thanks.
Shades of the 60's!!! So many are things I wore in high school and college !
Thank you. Yes, there's definitely shades of the 60s and the 80s in this year's trends.
Hi! I am getting an 80’s vibe comeback on these modern trends…bold and adventures!! Thank you! Anna UK.
Yes, some lady with her comment made me say that.
And stick up for you.
I love your ideas and designs.

Thank you. Yes, I wear big all the time, whether it's in style or not but very happy that it is.
Thank you, I love wearing jewels of any kind, I wear a bold statement all the time.... I don't need to wait for a trend. That's me ❤
Thank you Yedida. I love big and bold too.
Thanks for the 12 trends of jewelery in 2024. I am "equal opportunity" in it comes to jewerly, which means that I love all jewelry.
I totally get that. Thanks.
So glad pearls are back!
Thank you Cynthia. Me too, even though I would never wear them in a traditional manner, I do love them.
LOVE the "mismatched" earrings! Have a drop stones/beads pair I've enjoyed since I've had them and now they're in style!
That's great. Thank you Marilyn.
Love cuffs and bangles. Paired with stylish earrings, a beautiful trend. Gives your neck a rest especially in hot weather.
Yes, I do love them too. I hadn't thought of the neck thing but you're right. Thank you.
I love your colors! Cornflower blue and that touch of lavender and purple! Stunning!
Thank you so much, Cheryl. As I said in the video, I'm a colourful gal!
Thank you for rocking my day with your denim shirt collar turned up!
Ha ha, thank you Marty. It's actually a dress that I made a while ago.
I love color and brooches , mixed metals,as my mood goes I like your style too and enjoy the projects you do
Thank you so much, Marie.
Thank you so much for researching everything for us! I have worn pearls in quiet luxury for a long time. I love all of your tutorials, especially the one on ugly crimp beads! They are my demise! You are a joy to watch and make learning fun. I have learned so much from your channel! Thank you again!!
Thank you so much, Celia. I really appreciate that.
Excited to get out some antique brooches I have--Love them!!
Thank you Corrinne. I collect them wherever I find them. Did you see my latest video about the brooches? th-cam.com/video/D5U6WtfS4bU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9O4UNKfGDKZSbmp3
So pleased to see the brooch trend! Always been a brooch girl.
That's great, Ruth. Me too! Thank you.
"When I was young"...?
You *are* young!
Jewellery designer here, was looking for tips on what I should make this year - thanks for the tips
Ha ha, thank you for the compliment. When I was young I used to think 50 was old, now I'm 60, I think 80 is old.
Hey Carol! Love the quiet luxury. The others are great too. Great many necklaces.
This is great and would love to see more
Thank you so much, Charisse. In my heart I love the quiet luxury but in my head I know that it doesn't work for me. I'm much more of an edgy, boho girl.
Hi Carol, I have been doing the same looking at trends. As always your comments are fabulous and I love your ideas.
LOL
I will take a look at your flower video . Thanks for your time. Be well. Eve
Thank you Eve. I'm a Kiwi but I won't hold it against you that you thought I was Australian. LOL. @@evio20
oh dear!!! I’m sorry but also delighted 😀 beautiful country :) lucky you
I’m not a trend-follower at all, but I love this content. It’s fun to see what’s “now”. ❤ If I had to pinpoint a signature in accessories, for me, it’s yellow. Just one little pop of yellow just makes my heart happy… a belt, a hat, a hair bow, etc. 💛💛💛
That's a happy colour. Thanks for watching.
Subscribed. Finally found a kiwi You Tuber relevant to us living down under. 💝
Thank you!

Thank you, Rebecca. That's so good to know. I've been thinking a lot about what that would look like.
She is only giving you tips, take it or leave it.
Thanks Carol ❤
Thank you Leanne. Yes, just ideas of what's about right now. I just love to look at what's trending and decide whether or not I want to adopt it or whether it works for my style. Some of what I've shown in this video I would never wear!
@AffordableJewellerySupplies I would wear them right up my street.
Thanks for sharing
You're very welcome. Thank you Leanne.@@LeanneLEANNEO
Great idea! Thank you.
That sounds like fun. I still love a good feather earring!@@sumibear
Thanks so much for this! I just got into chainmaille, so I’m delighted to hear about the chunky chain trend!!
Thank you. Yes, I love chainmail! Did you watch this video where I used some of the chain mail techniques?
th-cam.com/video/JDxEW1Y6Fyg/w-d-xo.html
I'm pretty OCD about symmetry. The mismatched earrings would drive me crazy. 😊
Yes, I feel the same way. Thank you.
I’m glad to hear this. It’s time to pull my brooches from the vanity and revisit wearing more than one at a time. So excited!
Absolutely! Multiple brooches looks fab in my opinion. Thanks.
I absolutely LOVE your jewelry styling with the chambray shirt. Delightful how you've taken a staple and elevated it! I'll be copying your look.❤
Thank you, Jeri. I really appreciate that. I enjoy watching how styles evolve too and making them my own.
I would love to wear lots of rings but my fingers aren't the right shape 😀
Thank you so much for watching.
I loved this tutorial! I love pearls, probably most of all, great suggestions. Great to hear that brooches are making a come back. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much, Alice.
I’ll definitely adopt wearing stuff I already own. Trends come and go and usually come around again.
Such excellent information thank you for taking the time to collaborate all this material.
Thank you so much Melissa. I really appreciate you watching.
Love that large brooches are trending. I make silk flower and other style brooches. After watching your tutorials, I am going to see what I can do with adding chains and Pearl's and beads to some of my brooches. I will let you know how they turn out.
That's great, Linda. Thank you. Would love to see what you make.
Love trends for 2024, large, bold, colors, mixed metals, love it!!
Thank you, Julia. There's some fun stuff around.
Thanks Carol! I love symmetry. I love multiple chains, large rings and pearls!!!
Thank you Tamberlyn. I'm so happy about the brooches too. Give it a go and see what you think.
I love all the trends. They let me know about new pieces I can create. Thanks for sharing 🫶
You are very welcome, Delores. Thank you.

So nice! Thanks so much, Carol! I would love to hear more information about trend from you :)
Thank you so much, Linnea. I'm glad you liked this one. I've been thinking about how I could bring more of this content to you.
I like some of the trends... Pearl's, mixed metals and statement earrings sound wonderful. Love your necklace btw. Thanks for the info!

Yes, please. More content on any new trend is awesome. Thanks Carol! ❤ Love the necklace you’re wearing! 😊

Assymetricsl earrings can be a lot of fun. Good ice breaker at a party. Would love to see more videos like this. Always enjoy your vids.
That's very cool, Deborah. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not sure why I feel I couldn't do that. Interesting that we all have differing opinions on this. It would be very boring if we were all the same.
Thank you! This is such a fun video. I love my pearls but am going to add flower pins plus layer them this year. What a great way to rethink them.
Thank you so much. I agree, it's fun, especially for someone like me who loves pearls but they don't really fit with my style, to be able to reimagine them in a different way. Have fun!
Really enjoyed your video. First time watching. You have some great jewelry ideas also.
Thank you so much, Janet. I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
I love them all! Trends cycle, in all things, and the single or asymmetrical earring is one that was rampant in the eighties! As a woman with a round face, I love that this is back!
That's great, Renee. If we are patient everything we love comes back into style. Thank you.
I love Dior with the pearls and butterflies. Trends can be invaluable for the small business woman who's looking to sell her creations. No need to copy something exactly. Put your own spin on it and be proud of it! ❤
Thank you, Diana. I agree with all those statements.
I love the chunky mixed metal and twisted hoop earrings.
Yes, me too! Thank you, Rebecca.
I love trends because it helps me with my shop and get what people like with my own twist. Thank you for this
Thank you so much, Jennifer. Yes, I do the same. I do like watching the trends but give them my own spin.
I love the pearl and flower and the broaches ( did I spell that right) love your styles and how easy you make things work. I've learned a lot from you. thank you
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I too, love the flowers and of course the brooches.
I love mixed metals. Always have. And pearls. I haven’t thought about the cuffs but great idea.
Thanks for all the tips. ❤
You are so welcome, Donna. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you, Chris. It's terrible that clothing manufacturers think we should all wear black, isn't it. Your rings sound nice.
I love this content it’s so hard to find supplies and tutorials in products related to making your own pieces. Love this so happy I found it please more more more.
Thank you so much. I am thinking I will include more of this type of thing on my channel as I love doing them too.
Love the mixed metals , cuff bracelets and rings great video thank you 💜🌻✌🏻
You are very welcome, Anne. Thank you.
I love native American squash blossom necklace and have acquired quite a few. They are so captivating and really bring out one's individual beauty.
Oh I had never heard of this - had to google - they are so beautiful. I can see why you love them.

I'm such a fan of the brooch but haven't mastered wearing more than one at a time. The brooches you have on are inspiring me.
Thank you Kimberly. You've really just got to take the plunge and put a few on and see what happens. I often lie my jacket down and place them before I put them on, take it off and reposition if I don't like it. Go for it!

Here's the tutorial for the necklace I'm wearing. th-cam.com/video/IcRHg3E7_DQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uzhlluhwwhrsplDX

Used to the "1 Earring" style in my younger years. Or one big dangling one on one side, and a stud in the other. Loved that back then, will be totally going back to this!
That's great. I'm sure you will rock the look too. Thank you.
I was so looking forward to your 2024 trends video. Thank you! Love the statement rings. I very much appreciate your videos.
You are very welcome, Juantia. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Thank you.
Yes, I would love to see more videos like this. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Great, thank you.
Thanks a lot, Carol for all the research that went into making this video.
I love it, it is highly inspiring.
Please make another one like this for 2025 😊.
Thank you Sohpie. I'm working on it now.
YAY! Brooches. I have several from the 60's and 70's that are conservative but lovely. I can wear them again.
Thank you, Pat. Yes, I was pleased that I could drag out all of my Mum's old ones and I've collected a few over the years myself.
Love your video! I subscribed! I adore big rings but never wear them as I use my hands so much…but I will wear the big pearls and mixed metals. ⭐🙏🏼🙂❤
Thank you. I have the same problem regarding large rings. I'm loving the pearls and mixed metals too.
Have loved and been designing and making mixed metal jewelry forever. My favorite esthetic.
Thank you. Yes, I have been doing it for a while now too. Love it.
Love to watch you, keep them coming, Trends don't really bother me much I just wear what I want.
Thank you, Diana. I love to watch the trends but just take what works for me. The rest I just leave behind. I've got a capsule wardrobe video coming up in a couple of days.
I love fashion, usually loud and colorful, it’s really just according to how i feel that day!
Thank you. Yes, I tend to choose what I'm wearing based on how I'm feeling on the day too.
LOVE statement rings. Have worn for years. Earrings and rings are my go-to's.
Thank you, Bridget. I do love them, just not so much on me! Wear what you like, that's my moto.
LOVE these! Finally, a set of trends that match my jewelry box! (Btw, SO happy to have found your channel--liked & subscribed😍)

Your back, so happy 😃 ❤ love your jewelry your wearing. I love color too. 😊😀
Thank you so much Lorraine. I am hoping to bring you more of this type of content in the future, as well as my jewellery making tutorials.

I like all the trends that you covered. I have been working on layering necklaces, but according to one of your photos, I should add more. lol
And happy to see that brooches are still a thing since I sell vintage ones.
That's exactly right, Mel. I do that too. Thank you so much.
Love this video, Carol! Some of these trends are doable for me! Blessings from Nebraska!
Thank you so much, Pat. Yes, I agree that there's some things on trend this year that we can create using what we have. I love that idea. Even though I make a new piece of jewellery every week, I do love thrifting and reusing old pieces. I often take things apart and remake them.
i wear classic clothing, big rings asymmetric earrings, love pearl and have tons of metals to mix.
That sounds wonderful. Thank you.
New to your space. I apply trends to my look/fashion what I’m wearing but current as I interpret the sensibility of the trend.
Thank you so much, Faye. I look for brooches wherever I go.
