That's what I'm thinking. I genuinely don't think Hobie and Gwen are a thing. Because we already know Gwen and Miles like each other, and Hobie doesn't seem like he'd do something like that. He respects Miles and helps him escape the spider society. He even joins Gwen's team to help him. So why would he go through all this effort just to be like, "Oh yeah, I'm dating the girl you like haha". It just seems out of character for them. Hobie likes messing with people, so I believe he's just teasing Miles. I'm sure the third movie will clarify the dynamic between him and Gwen.
It's possible he's also doing it to get Gwen to talk to Miles cause he knows she hasn't told him nearly enough about everything. And like you said, he's spending all his time helping Miles, so why not help with his girlfriend too? Lol
Finally watched ATSV the other day, and at first I didn’t understand why everyone loved Hobie so much. Then the palm scene happened. I haven’t shouted “yes” that loud since I was 10. literally iconic
I think hobie is teasing Gwen and miles when he keeps bringing up stuff him and Gwen did without miles knowing. Hobie is doing this in a older brother way
That's what I'm thinking.
He was the only one who stood up to them and genuinely helped Miles, from the first moment they met.
Cannot wait to see what happens in the third film!
1:08 caught me off guard 💀
Hobie is not just a very based Spiderman, but a very based character. Fighting the good fight and does what he thinks is morally correct. He maybe my favorite Spiderman, period.
I love how forward this man is!
I never noticed he was stealing items while talking to miles 😂
Not only that, but he was stealing parts to make a watch for Gwen. He knew what was going to happen and planned in advance.
3:57 is the reason i love hobie🗿🗿😎
He was definitely one of my favorite characters love how much he supports miles💖💖💖💖
“Just for the record, I quit.” -Me after one hard day at work.
I love that he immediately acts like the cool rebellious older brother Miles never got.
“Takin’ a crap on the establishment, I salute you.” 😆😆😆😆😆
3:20 ....the subtitles lmao
Was gonna comment about it
Glad I'm not the only one
I got so scared when the thumbnail changed I thought this was deleted, this is one of my favorite videos, if it gets deleted please reupload it, the funny little touches are just so perfect
Hobie always believed in Miles, he knew he was going to be the best out of all them
1:35 “Man-like, Miles, My Guy
3:00 “looking out for my drummer” PLEASE I LOVE HIMMMMM
can u explain what drummer means in this context pls?
@@andrew_ds0 gwen plays drums and HOBIE plays guitar, I like to think the two of them like to play together sometimes and Hobie is looking out for his band mate, gwen :)
@@laylakindafruity ohh thats so sweet of him lol
I love that Hobie is a deep character (from the advice) but only shows surface level intelligence.
This movie was the best
I love how he just showed him how to escape by showing his hands
"Man-like Pav, BIG STEPPA!" He was my favorite from that moment.
I love how Hobie is literally just doing his own thing and the spider society dont even care
Because he has established himself as this anti-authourity jokester. They expect him to do weird stuff, they don't expect it to matter
*Massive world collapsing black hole appears*
Hobie: "it's a metaphor for capitalism."
The subtitles at 3:20 killed me, thats crazyy
the way my jaw dropped
I noticed anytime Homie is proud of miles he turns pink, but when disappointed or upset he turns grey
1:45 "It's a metaphor for capitalism"
LMAO
3:29 " Oh boeh Humbling Reality Spiderman has Arrived" Best line in the movie
Hobes is the typa guy that dates your girl next and you're just like "Ya he's a good dude I get it"
I feel like ever time he opens his mouth he’s warning Miles about the society and foreshadowing.
“I don’t believe in teams”
“Aren’t you in a band??”
_“I don’t believe in consistency.”_
“I DON’T BELIEVE IN COMEDY!”
_”JUST KIDDING!”_
“I’ll do it, but not because you told me too!”
“It’s a metaphor for capitalism.”
“YOU. . .”
_hi_
“I was gonna try to ignore you. I just can’t, I can’t-“
“I ain’t even here.. . or here.”
“The kid’s an anarchist”
“Taking a crap on the establishment I salute you.”
I love this man lmao
the way he bounced off that bus and stuck the landing anyway (he doesn't believe in pain)
HOBIE ON STAGE!!!!! I love this dude. I kind love characters who a little bit chaotic. And Hobie. One of them
Hobie straight up is the one who saved Miles
Oh my god I never noticed Hobie was grabbing items for a makeshift watch for Gwen
How cool he is!! I hope to see more of him in the sequels!
3:54 I've just noticed that chuckle.
You can tell he was waiting for something like that to happen
3:35 Taking a crap on the establishment?
*I s a l u t e y o u !!*
Dear lawd a representation of British people that is accurate to British people.
hobie needs his own movie.
He needs his own series
Completely inlove. And pleasantly surprised by him being voiced by Daniel Kaluuya
Turning pink whenever he touches someone he cares about 😭💓
Yeah! Hobie! you rock🤘🏾😝 man!
Love how nearly half this video is Hobbie robbing stuff from Miguel to make into a watch later
I love how Hobie is animated at less than 10 frames, to show he's not your usual spider-man, god I want to see the fucking movie!
he’s so-😭❤️
Bro the editing was superb made me chuckle
How does he get his hair to fit under his mask?
Don't know if you learned already, but it's called Hammerspace, a cartoon infinite space, like if you wanted to put a fully sized car in your pocket, essentially cartoon logic. Hope this helps!
@@Phantom_Solusi hearby dub this incarnation

@@torazely Perfection.
Hobie is so cool, that’s why
He carried the whole damn movie 😂
I always thought it was funny how Spider-Man India’s best friend is the British guy-
