Unit Garage also makes some great gear. I got their grab bar with the top box, which fits great. Also, they make an exhaust side pannier rack. So I am now sporting a Mosko Moto set up with two panniers.
Thanks for that info! I had seen that gear but didn't know anyone that actually used it. And I like the looks of the mosko moto set up. Perhaps I'll be changing things up in the future
I appreciate you taking the time to walk through this. Is the top case large enough to accommodate a full face helmet? Do you find the mounting to be solid/secure feeling? Is the roll bag part # A9510651? Do you find the top case/bag supportive enough to use as a backrest? Also what brand mirrors are those and do you find them better than stock?
Thank you for checking it out! So to answer your questions.... Yes the top box holds a full face just fine. I have a HJC F70 and it fits with a bit of room to spare. Everything seems secure and I ha ent had a single issue. When loaded it does exceed Triumphs stated weight limit, so do that at your own risk. My wife does lean against it when riding, but doesn't press full force against it. That is the part number I ordered from Triumph. Those mirrors are from Tec Bike and I love them. In my opinion they look better and give me much better visibility. www.tecbikepartsusa.com/TEC_Clamp_On_CNC_Round_Bar_End_Mirrors_for_XC_XE_p/t-cnc-mir-xc-b.htm I hope that helps! 👊
Nice video, I also have a triumph luggage rack which I think claims not to exceed 7lbs or so, did you find when you mounted the aftermarket plate to the tiumph rack if that supported more weight and if so, whats the approx weight of the topbox and its contents? I think that 7lbs is lawyers talk but I could be wrong, haha Thanks
hey... thanks for watching. im not gonna suggest anyone disregards what the manufacturer states, but i am in agreement with you and havent had any issues with weight(yet). i would say my total weight on t is around 20lbs. i dont believe the aftermarket plate affected anything, it just was a mounting point for the top box.
Hey, nice setup you have there. I see you’ve mounted your box on the not-so-good triumph grab-rack which on the triumph website has a payload of 2kg max (!!). I am tempted to do the same on my scrambler. Any issues so far? I guess your box when full is a lot more than 2kg, and the down force is even more when your wife use it as back rest. I am a bit worried about that. Any thoughts? Many thanks
You are 100 percent correct. I am sure Triumph has their reasons for the stated weight max, however I have had zero issues so far. You are also correct I have exceeded that weight limit and in off road conditions where I collapsed the suspension enough that my tire bent my license plate. My wife uses it more of a mental security feature. She likes feeling it there but isn't fully resting against it. This is all my personal opinion and experience. I can't advise you to go against the stated max load, of course. Thanks for watching and enjoy the riding season! 👊
I have had no issues and sh rides quite frequently with me. I adjusted te suspension to the recommended settings for a pillion and we only ventured off te pavement once or twice. She is a small woman so there isn't a great deal of weight being added when she is with me
The straps used there are the ones that came with the dry bag. However, ROK straps would work great for this and pretty much any other strap application. I'm a big fan of them.
I'm not clear which part you are asking about. The silver grab rail attached to the bike is from triumph. . The black mounting plate for the box came with the box
@@scrambler_adventures Definitely was scary! Dr Who, does some whacky stuff, but haven't watched it in years. And my pleasure mate, the bike looks and sounds great- lovely machine.

@@BlackdogADV Dr Who, is a British (BBC) Sci Fi series, which has been going since 1963, the episode we mentioned is about these angel statues, which can only get you when they are unseen(hence don't blink), if you are near them and blink or close your eyes, they can move towards you, so you must keep them in sight at all times. There are loads of whacky episodes like this too, I'm sure you could find them somewhere online? Probably at a fee, but that's the way it goes... 👍🏼
Would like to know whats in your tool kit when you have the time on an upcoming video. My selection of quality tools here in Thailand is lacking greatly. My next trip to the states I gotta source some good carry tools for sure. That sticker actual made me think of a tourist attraction in my hometown. Google The Turning Angel in Natchez if you’re interested. Thanks and ride safe!
Thanks. I googled The Turning Angel and the similarities are strong. I am happy to make a video with the tools I carry. I expect I would be able to do that in the next few weeks
Always appreciate a good Dr. Who reference.
Aside from having to watch the movie Threads at school yeah that Dr Who episode is pretty freaky and gets in your head! Great content keep it up
I appreciate that my man. Thanks for the view and comment

Are the straps to the dry bag available without the bag ?
I’m interested in the type of latch or clasp that is used really.

what’s the make of the rack that’s attached to the back of the bike that holds the box?

Dr Who? I think I get that reference! 😆
You know it! I'm not saying the actual show was scary, but the concept of the weeping angels is ridiculous! Thanks for watching.

What is the brand model of the box please tia
I put the link to where I bought it on Amazon in the description. I don't recall the name off the top of my head
