    Sweet machine. My Unit Garage windscreen shows up tomorrow. You've got me thinking I should have gone with the XL version. We'll see, I'm not used to windshields, so I was going to ease into it, lol. I bought my 1200XC used, with a bunch of mods already done, but I'll probably pick up a few more things similar to what you've done here. Need a phone/gps mount setup yet and maybe a rear rack. I've got the Triumph pannier now, and the Zard slip-on exhaust and I've got some bar-end mirrors, and an auxiliary heat shield for the exhaust coming. I could use that Giant Loop bar bag and the rubber tank grippers which are an insane $79 now, and the front fender extension. I know what you mean that you can just sit there and look at the bike, ha.

    Another great video. I can understand why you say you could set up a chair and just sit and look at the bike. It's like a work of art...a blend of past and present. It's absolutely gorgeous, really.

    great video, think the headlight guard if you flip it the triangle would align with the triangular triumph logo

    Mods are very nice. The windscreen is very nice as you went for functional over just "cute". The lights make a huge functional plus...I would leave those in place and find two powerful small LED true projectors lights...that way you will be fully enlighted... There is no negative for being seen day/night. You may be able to attach them to your engine guards, or swap them around. Bright up high...flood on lower guards.

    Thank you so very much for this video. my older brother, who bought a 2023 model of this very bike is now very ill and can no longer ride. I will be purchasing his bike soon, and I will be purchasing probably the exact same mods that you have on your bike. Thank you for making it easy for me. Anyways, be safe out there, and enjoy the ride while you can.

    Just got my 2019 1200xe Dont let anyone Windshield shame you lol. i have the little shaded one and the after a while it beats the crap out of yea lol. i just did an 900km round trip on sunday my first big ride on the bike and my biggest ride an any bike on one day. after about 5 or 6 hrs of holding yourself to the bike it gets a bit hard in the shoulders. I will be getting that windshield looks great imo. i am just not sure if i want to save for the full fairing or just the windscreen. Your bike looks great cant wait to get some parts on mine.

    Thanks for a great, informative episode.
    I really like what you’ve done with your bike.
    I have the 2024 Scrambler XE model, and probably every mod you’ve done to your XC will work on mine.
    I have a lot of the Triumph accessories and parts on back-order: the small tinted windshield, the fog lights, the fender extender, the headlight protector, the side bag, etc.
    I’m definitely getting the windshield you featured, and the car play device. I’m considering the bar end mirrors you featured, even though I have the DoubleTake mirrors on my other two bikes.
    I’ll surely use your links, and thanks for the discounts!
    Happy Trails!

    Very informative!! My wife and I each have scrambler 1200 XE’s- I’m with you, these are FANTASTIC bikes. I’m checking out the links you left. Thank you!

    Amazing video! Had a question though, might be a stupid one, but do those exhaust pipes get hot and bother the pillion as they are very close to the back footpegs?

    SMDSR- scrolling through YT, I saw the thumbnail and my eyes assumed it was a Royal Enfield and I was like "RE does not make a 1200! Then I realized it was your channel and YOUR bike OH!

    Very nice. Love the windshield and luggage. Have you thought of a way to pack extra fuel?

    • @0HARE
      @0HARE 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good point, as I’ve been a bit apprehensive about the smaller tank on the Scrambler.
      My old KLR650 has a six gallon tank, and plenty of range.
      I’m considering one liter aluminum fuel bottles that you can get from most sporting goods stores.
      We found some great 1L fuel bottles at R.E.I. They will fit in the top case very well.

    • @BlackdogADV
      @BlackdogADV 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@0HARE most scramblers have small tanks. I’m doing a Royal Enfield 650 scrambler build (3gal tank). I managed to find space for two 1 gal RotoPax tanks. I’ll be using some budget soft luggage but haven’t figured it out yet.

    Great video. I’m thinking about trading in my tiger 900 gt pro for a scrambler 1200 xe but I was concerned about giving up comfort for aesthetics. You provided me with some options that might make the transition easier.

    I started following you when you purchased the Transalp. I didn’t pull the trigger on that one because I don’t like the paint finish. I have been doing research on the Triumph Scrambler because a buddy of mine will sell me his 2020 cx with 2k miles for $7k. I almost feel like I can’t pass it up. The biggest negative is wind buffeting and you seem to have solved that issue. So, is it a keeper now? Thanks

    Question for ya, on the fog lights, did you need the one with the wiring harness from Amazon, or is everything needed inside the headlamp?

    I see the bit of exposed frame in front of the tank and just think "why triumph, why not just make the tank bigger".
    Who buys a bike and goes "Ahh, I really love this bike but the tank is just too big"

    You said you got the scrambler to “tame you down off-road”. Does that mean you think the scrambler is less capable off-road than your Tiger Rally Pro was?

    • @adventureundone

      oh no way, the scrambler can take it all on.

      @@adventureundone Since you have had both the Tiger Rally Pro and Scrambler 1200, do you think they are both equally capable off-road? Or is one more capable off-road than the other? And if one is better off road, why?
