    When I started off my design career, I thought UI, UX, and product design were three very different things. Turns out they're not! Watch this video to learn why most tech companies are switching UI/UX designer titles to Product Designer. You will also discover how much Big Tech companies pay their designers. I understand job salaries vary a lot between cities and countries, so please take that into consideration. Plus, I demonstrate how design is usually done in real life versus what you might have learned from online courses and bootcamps. Enjoy!

    After a year of working as a junior website developer, I realized that life isn't just about making money. It's also important to find time for rest and peace. That's why I took the initiative to learn about UI/UX design so that I can collaborate better with designers and understand their needs more easily. ❤

      So glad to hear this ✨ Honestly, with your experience, you probably already know most things about the UIUX world. But learning it could help you connect the dots and expand your future project opportunities. 🎉

    Great video! By the way, the course you’re offering only cost $149? And for how long?

    • @AlienaCai
      @AlienaCai  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, only cost 149 USD, life time access 😉 It has four modules and from my students they say it's the most hands on and practical course they've taken. I'm not doing intensive marketing and handling everything by myself to keep the cost low, but once I brought on more people I might raise the price.

    This video blew my mind. What about service design? It can be part of something or its just related to UX/UI/Product? I am asking because I saw companies hiring service designers and the job itself is like a UX Researcher for business needs.

    • @AlienaCai
      @AlienaCai  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      This is a great question. I'm not an expert in service design so I actually don't know 😅 Based on asking ChatGPT, I felt like maybe service designers don't need to deliver UI?? But more like designing the customer journey?

    I am an Architect but I don't know in which field I should do masters as I am planning to transition into UX or UI, some people say product management is better and some say masters in user experience is good and some say nothing is good, as the job market is not good anymore because of a lot of competition, do you have any suggestions?

    Is UX & Product design still in demand? Because I've heard from a lot of people that the design career is in decline and there are very few job opportunities in the market.

      the market is shit atm. I have 3 years of experience + master degree and am struggling finding a new job in London. There simple not many places to apply if you are early in your career

      I also heard it's a tough time at the moment 🙈 But usually decreasing full time role lead to increasing contractor positions. You can look into that. Also, it looks like it's not just UIUX, it's almost from all industries.

    As for naming conventions we as a industry are truly in a shi...y place (our fault by the way :D) coming up with new names and titles each day. For me personally ux design covers everything since it tackles user, business and everything around it.
