I've been doing graphic design for 9 years and trying to challenge my new career path this year. Thanks for the realistic advice. That was very helpful :)
Thank you for your video. It motivates me a lot. I'm from a different field and want to become a UI/UX designer, so I'm starting by learning Figma first. I'm learning quite slowly because I don't have any design background, and today my teacher expressed disappointment about my design, saying it's messy and lacks logical padding. I'm really sad about it. I just don't know how to improve it, so I’ve been trying to figure it out myself by searching on TH-cam, and that's when I came across your video. I only have one week left to finish my project, so I'm really panicking. Thanks again for your motivation.
@@kateunhae537 Sorry to hear about the negative feedback on your work!😔 every famous designer also went through the same. Please, use this feedback as a hint on what you became stronger at! Have you read about the Proximity law? This law was the most helpful for me at the beginning of my career😍
I’m on a journey to become a product designer and this video was quiet helpful. I’ve subscribed to your channel to watch more videos and learn from you as well Thank you❤
Hi I did my graduation in bachelor's of visual design is there a compulsion to do masters as will to get a good job or the certified course will work? Please guide, thanks
@@ShivamMaurya-i1q I’m sorry that you feel confused! I would suggest focusing on hard skills first(design principles and fundamentals) and then opening job positions you would like to apply to and analysing what skills/criteria you don’t have. For example, if in a job description having user research is required then you need to try a few user research methods even if it is not for the real product. Focus on gaining these skills so the job position can be your north star at the beginning.
I really liked this content
Good luck
It's so insightful going straight into the point. Thank you, please make more of this video. It's really helpful
