Hiya Gemma I have used every trick that you have taught us about using Tretinoin. I also used a retinoid for twelve months before trying it. I started on 0.05 but that was just too strong so Dematica sent me a 0.025 strength which was still too strong. So when The Ordinary brought out their Retinal I tried that. Bingo, fantastic. I use that every night on my face, neck, chest and backs of my hands. I’ve had no shredding of my skin at all 👍 💖

Gemma, I use Benton brand vitamin C at 20% (k-beauty) which also has ferulic acid, vitamin E and glutathione. It is not suspended in water but in propanediol, it is very good. I have also used Cosrx vitamin C at 13% which I also like, because it combines it with several antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin E, caffeine and licorice root, which is an excellent antioxidant and depigmenting agent. Thank you Gemma for sharing your knowledge of skincare products here, it’s good to know about a product like One Skin that ships to Australia and you can actually see how much it costs in the AUD, not many companies do that, I have a pretty intense skincare routine as a skincare junkie Lol 😂, I use many of the ingredients you mentioned but from different brands, my 64 year old skin has never looked better since incorporating Growth Factors, DNA Repair, Retinaldyhde and Vitamin C together at night, depending on which Vitamin C you’re using, I prefer to use Vitamin C L-Ascorbic acid in the morning and at night I’ll use both Retinaldyhde and Vitamin C 20% THD Ascorbic acid, along with my Growth Factor as my first step after cleansing at night and finishing with my DNA Repair, I’ll use two different Growth Factors for my morning and night time skincare routine, I also include a Hyacyn Mist to balance the skins ph to maximise the effectiveness of the serum’s I use, I know I use a lot of skincare products but they’ve worked for me in getting rid of my age spots and stopping any further ones appear, especially for someone like myself who grew up in the 60’s being a Sun Lover and not wearing Sunscreen, I only get a little bit of Botox twice a year and only started working on my skin when I was in my mid 50’s, so basically it’s taken me 10 years to repair the damage I did to my skin growing up and well into adulthood. I love listening to the science behind the products and brands, but I have to say that nothing from The Ordinary ever worked for my skin or the products that Angie uses, tried them all with no success. Best Wishes from Australia ❤️❤️❤️

Gemma - you convinced me to use Dermatica and for that I'm grateful! Would you use the Retinal serums on any day you're not using Tret from Dermatica? I find even low level 0.025% Tret dries out around the corners of my mouth, whereas Retinal doesnt. So does Retinal give more anti aging since you can put it around areas where Tret can't go? Also did you notice a bit more wrinkles in the initial stages of using Tret from Dermatica? Thanks xxx
@@olga_b344 retinal is a lot more gentle than tretinoin primarily because it’s a lot weaker, but you can use it alongside in the areas you’re not applying tretinoin. The wrinkles you’re referring to are probably down to dehydration and dryness. Get yourself a heavy thick moisturiser to apply on top of your tretinoin cream and that should solve it. Where in a routine would the "botox in a bottle" go please? Is it ok AM layered before/after vit c? Or PM layered before/after tretinon?
NIce video. What is the difference between frownies and wrinkle shminkles? Anyone here use both and can give a comparison?
I am 49 and skin care has reformed my skin. I tape my face at night with kinesiology tape vs. the silicone and works well and a less expensive way and I use a wrinkle pillow I got on amazon. I love one skin and the OS body I know works because I have tried so many lotions and creams on my troubled/dry feet and it is like they are young again (your mom's results are Amazing!). I also use Calecium products and love them as well. Trentinon, Viatmin C, and others are also part of my routine. I just starting trying the Auteur Line Serum (which is expensive) but heard amazing things about it- so I will see.
What pillow from Amazon do you use? The one Gemma is using is £200 so hoping yours isn't so expensive!
@@janicerainey8687 I just looked it up and I bought it in 2023 and it looks like it is not available anymore, sorry!
Hi jemma how many times can you use the wrinkle smikles patches? Is it a one time thing n then u have to buy more?
@@lisaerickson9510 15-20 times x
Hi Gemma. Wondering if you can give me advice. I bought the brow gel from ELF and can't get the end to open so I can use the brush and comb. Any thoughts? AND now the Moment blush will not come out of the bottle. There is a white-ish plastic perhaps cover where the drop of the blush should come out. Have you heard of these problems? Any suggestions? I am a little disappointed. Thanks you!
@@jansan2323 for the blush, shake it up really well then tip it upside down and press the sponge pad on the base of the product to release a drop.
For the elf brow gel, the cap doesn’t unscrew, it just pulls off. X
Hi Gemma, I purchased the wrinkle silicone patches , they seem to imprint these micro indentations in the skin .. should this happen ? Thank you
@@GemimaBono I’m not sure I understand. Did you buy wrinkle schminkle patches or a different brand?
Get video../can you apply the neck wrinkle pads over sunscreen? Will it stick?
@@kerryallen4665 yes you can. You’re supposed to apply on clean skin, but I often apply over the top of skincare x
@@PamperedWolf thank you! Also how long did the one skin take for your mom? Her results are amazing!
@@kerryallen4665 about 4-6 months I think x
@@PamperedWolf Ty!

What do you thino of Future Renew / No7 serums (peptide forumlas) please
I added Argreiline to my skincare routine for months. Sadly it showed no changes
@@willow9790 that’s a shame. X
OS-1 body is very expensive. Are there any dupes out there?
Adapalene has legitimately erased my 11 lines. I hope it works for others.
Is that in the retinol family but marketed to target ache? I’ve been considering using this.
Yes. The brand name is Differin. It's the only retinol I can tolerate, even other OTCs for some reason.
@@MDev617 sorry I meant acne not ache lol. Thank you. I’ll give it a try 😊
Angel, REVIV SERUMS ULTIMATE SERUM is an excellent less expensive growths factors serum . ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Would you spend your money on the one skin or alies of skin if you could choose xx
@@paulam6182 that depends what result you’d like. Personally for me I would go peptides rather than vitamin c but that’s because my skin is really sensitive xxx
How do Wrinkles Schminkles differ to Frownies etc? Are they better?
@@Tonnnamara I’ve never used frownies so I couldn’t compare x
Can’t get the discount code for the pillow to work?
Me too, very frustrating.
BTW G and G have just launched a new 0.2 retinal ... xx

I have transexamic in my tretinoin. What is it and how does it work
I think it might be for pigmentation?
When you wear the wrinkle schminkles it says no skincare underneath. Do you sleep with them? How do you manage no skincare?
@@barbtscott I use mine during the day but you are supposed to sleep in them xxx

Thank you for responding!! How often (hrs/days) per week should you wear them to get benefit from them?
The secret is stay to your cream dont change ur cream thats the best
