Cathay is good airline, and on the A350 business class is much more spacious then the Boeing 777 business class and they removed the step in front of your seat on the A350
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing as I was filming it - I always thought of Hong Kong as just a small place loaded with tall buildings, but clearly the scenery was fantastic as well!
Even when flying AA to the U.S. in business, I always use the Cathay lounge. Although hardly equal to The Pier in HKG, it's better than American or Qantas. I prefer the mini-cabin with only eight seats.
Lovely Review :) I'm from Hong Kong, and I saw people discussing online that CX doesn't worth a 5-star rating these days when we compare it with QR/EK/SQ/etc. But yes, I do agree with you that it has always been very consistent and I like how attentive their FAs are. Although it is not as fancy as other airlines, Cathay has always been my favourite. Thanks for the review again, truly enjoyed it! :)
I'm a fan of your reviews as well :) I didn't mention it on my video, but seems like CX FAs have strong procedures/schedules that they follow closely (in a very friendly way, I should add). The only other airline I've seen with this level of discipline is NH. To me, this type of quality and consistent service is more important than extra bling lol
Oh don’t worry. Rest aside CX is much better than SQ, haven’t u heard the cheap Chinese ding dong take out paper box being served on SQ regional flights? I still have nightmare remembering one old auntie in front of me requested for another meal as she was not feed enough. We all joked that better eat at hawker centre before boarding SQ if we ever have to fly it

I know it's a bit tired but I have nostalgic memories of cathay pre pandemic so going to Japan with them from LHR through HKG business with my kids. Price was half that of JAL and BA

I will flight Cathay from Paris to Hong Kong but I need to catch another flight in Hong Kong. I will probably need to re-checkin in Hong Kong Airport. Is there any restriction to do so? Thanks for your answer
That sounds fun and wishing you happy travels to Hong Kong! Unfortunately I'm not sure if they have restrictions (esp. with COVID), but generally I've been able to do that in other countries before without issues. For this video my connecting flight from Hong Kong to Japan was Cathay also, so I had no issues transiting.
Flying from Amsterdam > Hong Kong > Tokyo in May with Cathay Pacific Business Class. Really looking forward to it, and your video made the hype even better as well! Thank you for the review :)

Cathay Pacific is a racist airline, they openly made fun of brown skin and Chinese mainland people. It was so apparent that the crew is racist and it was very viral also , they started attacking whoever talked about it online

Skytrax can be better regarded as Scamtrax. Still, Cathay did actually have a 5-star product! I also see slowly but surely you are growing!
