This thing still going strong. I just installed one and it's so freakin cool i feel like a superspy everytime i go into my bedroom but i've read they're not very durable and when the battery starts going and won't hold a charge it's downhill.
When it auto lock and you are inside , can you open door with turning knob ?
Yes. Otherwise it would not be convenient to use at home.
