GHome Smart Door Knobs with Fingerprint Unlock, installation and review

today we will install and do a quick review of the GHome Smart Door Knobs. you can unlock using your fingerprint, an app, or even with the 2 provided physical keys. it works great and fairly fast, within1 second, to unlock using your fingerprint. installation was fairly easy and painless. all you need is a Phillips screw driver to remove the old knobs and install this new smart knob. everything works as advertised. requires 4 AAA batteries, not included. i wish the company provides other colors beside dark brown. here's hoping there will be brushed nickel and stainless steel!

If the lock is in LOCKED state from the inside then can I still open it with a key, app or fingerprint ?

Nice lock, but there is a bit of problem there. You have a mesh on top and glass below. It will take anyone 10 seconds to open that gate, probably without breaking the window (just pushing the mesh in, breaking the tabs holding it)

This is true. That's why I use the dead bolt, double keyed,, at night for this metal door. On the exterior, also AI cam. And another door behind this door without any opening

Does this lock work remotly as if you are away from the house?

no, you cant do it yourself because it works via bluetooth. you can assign a digital key to someone with a bluetooth phone so they can open via bluetooth

I'm struggling to get 2 people on it. Anyone find instructions for that? Installed fine and added my own fingerprints but after sharing with my wife, she can't add her fingerprints.

I was able to add a lot of people under my account. The person you shared the account don't have admin rights to add it seems

Just twist the knob. There's nothing to unlock.
