Wow it looks like your weather is as cold as it is her today 5°. LOL. Nice awesome looking 10/22. I would have bought that one too. Great job showing her off. Thanks for sharing. God's blessing for you and your family Merry Christmas!
Hey, Travis, that was great .22 shooting, especially from those long distances in a strong wind. I am an air gun shooter only. Please do not anyone doubt that I am a rock solid supporter of the Second Ammendment, it's just that I want to have guns that I can shoot in my backyard here in small town MN. (Yes, the state governed by Tim Walz, only because of Twin Cities metro area voters. does he govern us.) I have asked questions here before that demonstrate my lack of knowledge, and here comes another. You mentioned "rim fire." I get the difference regarding where the hammer strikes the shell, but are there other differences between "rim fire" and "center fire" ammo?
@davidlinscheid2321 great question. Rimfire is actually a much older design. The primer is liquid that’s dropped into a fresh case, then hardens, then the powder is usually a very small amount and then a swauged bullet (have no idea how to spell that) basically the bullet is the limiting factor with Rimfire as it has to be shot from a straight wall case, which gives it a really bad ballistic coefficient. Centerfire uses a primer inserted on the rear of the case, then powder, then the bullet is pressed into the shell and either crimped or only held in place with the tension of the brass.
@@gboutdoors5198 FYI that is actually a very common audio problem. For some reason a lot of microphones really pick up S sounds more sharply than others
Normally when switching ammo or on a clean barrel. Some guns the first couple of shots can be off because the barrel is cold. 22LR seems to be affected by the cold barrel more than others. Maybe the velocity or the shape of the bullet.
Love the stock on this one, boss !
Thanks it is pretty nice.

@@ohshoot444 Thanks for the info, Travis. I now understand there is a big difference!
Not sure if it’s my Mic but the Audio seems really sharp when you say S it’s really loud
Thanks for the heads up I didn’t edit my audio like I normally do for this one.
@@ohshoot444 no problem! I’m liking the video so far

@@jakel2837 I was thinking that could be the issue thanks!
It the eq I added to this mic. I normally export my audio and correct it in audacity but I just did it in my video editor this time.
How do you know when you have shot enough fowler shots?
