I changed the scope rings, see through quad top strap. Hits deadly accurate out to 30 yards with 13 to 18 grain rounds, but I have shot it well over a hundred with hits on target, paint cans btw. I brought the trigger down a lot too, was heavy and long out of box. But same scope and sling still working a plus 3 years later. And always and only clean with silicone, Tippmann liquid fire works amazing.

Great video, lots of good details! Can you tell me what one has more power, the Umarex NXG, or the Daisy 880. I like to shoot steel coffee cans for my targets using bbs.

I brought my cfx nearly 20years ago it still shoots straight its powerful enough but about 10years ago I saw the same cfx in the shop and the machining looked terrible every edge on the rolling breach was like a razor it looked pooly made but few years before that they made them with pride maybe they just dont care for the cfx now.

Just bought a GAMO 10 shot .177 Absolutely love it and am about to upgrade the scope. The magazine was a little difficult to load. I lubed the o ring with a cotton bud ever so lightly using Vaseline 250 shots later and it's still working a dream.

I always thought 🤔 about getting one of those.

I got my eye on a 15 yo 177 beeman on CL here in DFW for $65 comes with a scope and softcase, owner is not not sure of the model. if I geter she'll be my first break barrel. kinda stoked, supposedly good as new. funds are low this time of year so I may get an earful from the wifey.

Always makes me chuckle when Gamo comes up with all these different model names . Mine is from 2017 called the Maxxim in .177 caliber , the year it came out . Mine has metal trigger ( with the trigger screw mod ) and the stock is only slightly different . Priced at 180.00 then . Still shoots flawless to this day . Installed a 4x16x40mm side focus on day one . Got extra mags through Gamo cheaper than anyone else .

I thought that was once again a most enjoyable video, Travis, and fine shooting, too. To my surprise, the most accurate air gun in my small arsenal is now a "cheap" Daisy Model 35 I bought at my local Hardware store a couple of months ago. It took messing with both windage and elevation, but it has become a great rifle to shoot.

That gun got me hooked on airguns. I shot Crosman wadcutters. Got many starlings, rats, and even a rattlesnake with it. Shot many starlings at 30-40 yards using the iron sights. Had to put a dab of paint so I could check the sights before every shot. They moved so easy.

I have one in 22 I'm wanting to upgrade it. What was the name of the airgun repair shop you told me about in an earlier comment? Great video brother

Hey boss, I hope you're doing well ! I have 4 of the old B3's all $20.00 pawn shop finds A friend of mine converted one of them to a nitro piston it now shots a 14.3 grain pellet in the low 800 fps mark, but it's a bear to cock !!

Howdy! So can you confirm your FPS is near 700? That does not bode well for my B3....I always thought mine was very accurate for what it was so I always assumed it was healthy power-wise too....but I was pretty surprised to find out mine only puts out CPHP's at ~500fps or so (with a brand new breach seal too)...

My friend made that mistake with mine don't go after squirrels get something stronger or they're going to squirm and suffer

Hey travis! Honestly that gun did pretty darn well on those groups!

I took apart my Crosman firearm for what ever reason just felt like it, and I cannot get the hammer spring pin back in. I assume I need to find a way to compress the spring? its just annoying the crap out of me all it needs is like a quarter of an inch clearance.

Glad you’re still at. I enjoy videos. Heard you got rid of some of your guns. Maybe time for new models? I know you love shooting it shows in your reviews. I got back into air guns after watching one of your videos on a Crosman Legacy. I know you love Crosman and their closing hit me hard also.
