Great video. I took my embroidery machine in to be serviced and also took my Singer HD in because the feed dogs would not stay up. I was told to toss it could not be fixed. I had only had it around a year. I told my husband I was going to take it apart, if they couldn't fix it then I couldn't hurt it any more. I sat down and started not knowing what I was doing but I did watch youtube ( I had not found you at the time ) But I found a lot of lint but I found a piece of broke needle in the gear. I took that out and oiled the parts I saw. The machine is sewing now but after watching your video I see I need to work on it more. The closest Singer repair shop is 4 hours drive from me and I don't walk so the trip is hard for me, it cost me around $60 to mail each way. Thank you for the info I may get it working better.
I recently got a Singer 44s Heavy Duty that looks very similar to the one you were servicing in the video. So my question is, are they pretty much the same machine? I mean as far as how I would service my machine. I like my machine very much and am a little fanatical about cleaning up after every use. But I do understand that small particles find their way into places they don’t belong. I really appreciate your videos. I’m learning so much.
I work in computers and I use a weekley pill box to put the screws in when dismantling. Like that, you have each screw type together and in the order they were removed. Thanks for the video.
This is a very useful video. It will save a lot of money and prevent many sewing machines from ending up in the trash. Many of these machines just need to be oiled and cleaned.
I have to say thank you for your videos for the Singer Heavy Duty. I knew mine needed a thorough cleaning after several years of use. Finding your videos showed me how to get the covers off the top and bottom to clean and lubricate. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video! I volunteer at a non-profit that teaches refugees to sew. I maintain their machines. They used to use vintage Kenmores and Singers, but they recently bought 6 Singer Heavy Duty machines, because the students had trouble using a variety of different machines. So I've started servicing these HDs, 4432 and 4452. Your video is VERY helpful, as I've never worked on modern machines. Thank goodness these are mechanical machines not too different from vintage! I'm buying the pry tool set, as I can't get any of the tops off. Hope you'll do a video showing that!
Thanks for that. I’m mechanically inept - I have other skills - so this video was very useful. I’d suggest for people like me that all screws are taped to the bit of machine they came from! Or placed in a labelled envelope…My machine is the 4423. I have a Singer hand crank machine also, which is around 80 years old… It weighs a ton! Cheers from England xx

Keep it cleaned out and lubricated, use the correct size needle for your project, change your needle if you think it may have a problem, don't pull your fabric and make sure it is properly threaded. Those few step will take you a long way in keeping your machine is great shape

Singer Heavy Duty 4411 - This thing is the best low end sewing machine I've ever owned, which isn't saying much considering sewing machines these days. It does sew multiple layers of denim/ canvas, but it's so loud and sometimes I feel like it could go at any moment. I also have a very old 50's Piedmont. The thing weighs as much as a treadle but it's quiet and sews like a dream, it's just too slow for some of my needs. I need to service my 4411 for the first time, so thank you for this.
You are very welcome! Singer machines now days are loud and vibrate a good bit. When they need cleaning and lubricating it get worse, hopefully it will quite down and smooth out after it is cleaned and lubricated. Thank you!
Thank you.. I bought a warehouse returned 4423 a couple of years back.. real cheap, and boy, it was new but messed up. I took it completely apart using the repair manual, fixed and adjusted, and have been sewing on it ever since.. love it! I will use this info for a refresh of my machine.. sure coulda used it back then.. so thanks again!!

I am starting into sewing, but I got sidetracked after picking up a few old all metal machines and what amazing machines they are. I own a 4411, thank you for bringing this particular site to my attention. I've bookmarked it, subscribed, and given it a thumbs up. . . Vintage, all-metal sewing machines "rock"! So far my 4411 has served me well, and in fact, I was putting it to work, sewing up some replacement suspender straps, when you sent me this video. For me, I'll tackle a "simple" repair, and trust a professional for the rest. I just bought a Singer Heavy Duty 6360M. I have never owned a Singer I learned by working at a fabric store that Singers came back a lot but people like the heavy duty. I’ve been sewing a lot of bags with vinyl and needed something with some more strength. Seems to be a decent machine
One of the biggest problems I see with them is they skip time when sewing heavy materials at fast speeds. the timing belt is a little small and is not as tight as it should be. It can be tightened with the idler pulley which can be reached by taking the bottom off
One tip I wd add is that you cd actually use small pieces of masking tape to tape the screws removed to the piece they came out of -i.e. bottom plate, side plate, top, etc. That wd help in making sure the right screws went back in the correct places. Very good video overall.
Absolutely incredible instruction, even for this non-mechanical sewer! I was so lacking in confidence, I didn't think I'd be able to get the covers off, especially the top one, as it was tricky. But I did everything except under the machine, which I'll save for another day. I learned a lot and gained major confidence. My machine is now purring like a ... well, like a well-oiled machine. I've loved my Singer 4452 since I bought it two years ago, but now I love it even more, knowing I can perform this maintenance myself. You are a patient, knowledgeable, and superb educator! Thanks so much for this video. I have had my HD for several years and used it for heavy projects including all vinyl handbags. I have sewn through up to 8 layers of marine vinyl. It’s been a great machine but definitely needs servicing and I have never found directions for doing so. I’m thankful your video came up in my suggested videos.
This is awesome. This is my machine, and I have beat the hell out of it, never serviced. It's a great machine, but it costs as much to have serviced as to buy a new one! Now I can keep it out of a landfill, and learn a lot at the same time!

Thanks for instructive video. My model is a Singer 4423 and I love having an excuse to get sewing on it. I fix all our clothes and my wife's clothes as well. I think it is a good machine. My mum was a seamstress when we were growing up here in the UK, her machines were always singer, when we were real young she worked a hand cranked machine, then on to a treadle operated and lastly an electric machine. She worked hard all day making clothes for factories, which I would find utterly boring but at the time just after the war things were tight to say the least. Thanks again for video.

Hi Richard your video is excellent. My machine is exactly like yours but it’s the 4432. I took out the two top screws behind the handle but did not see any others, yet the top will not come off! Is there another screw? I oil everywhere you showed but can’t do the top. Help please.
If you manage to get singer service on the phone, they will tell you that the "heavy duty" only applies to the motor. I had one and took it back. It wasn't balanced well enough for the motor speed, and tried to shake itself off the table.
The main difference between the two machines. Singer 4411 has 11 built-in stitches which include 6 Basic Stitches, 4 Decorative Stitches and 1 auto 4-step buttonhole. Singer 4423 is more advanced in the number of built-in stitches.
I have a Singer Heavy Duty 4452. I like that it’s a mechanical device that is unlikely to throw any hissy fits that will give me a hard time. I really like it, especially the setting for sewing and overcasting a seam all at the same time. I’ve had it for a couple of years. My son just oiled the little oil wick under the throat-plate this week. I also like the simplicity in changing out the presser foot and I put a sheet of paper over the throat plate when changing the needle so there’s no way my old fingers will drop the needle down the needle hole. LOL nothing but singer 44 series model problems here, I just opened mine up and plastic gears and cams everywhere...pure junk, heavy duty my butt! Plastic fantastic chinese junk! Why did I open it up? reversing on the button hole crapped out, not even worth trying to fix it... It did about three shirts ( about 18 button holes before it died)....200 bucks singer got me for! You'll never get me again Singer! oh sure i could probaby fix it, but how long will it be again before im back inside that plastic stuff again??? Just toss the junk in the trash can and move on to an older better machine
I’m just 15mins into this video and my jammed machine has relaxed. When cleaning the underneath, I heard a loud pop, I didn’t know where the sound came from and to my surprise, the hand wheel was free. I’m so happy.

I have Singer HD 4423 ans was searching for a solution for my bottom thread get stuck, as I came across this I look at your instruction carefully especially when you note to turn the housing to the opening to get the bobbin case off and back on, amazing! if you have thread jammed problem and bobbins spinning or catching problem, pay close attention to this part. I was having problem with the bottom thread get stuck around the bobbin. This resolved my issue as I took out the bobbin case to clean I found that it was not sitting in the housing correctly so the needle and the hook is not working properly and got caught wounding around the case. I fixed the issue and reseated the case and now I'm back sewing!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for your help 👏👏👏

I don’t know if you work on this, but I enjoy listening to you because you only talk about what needs to be talked about instead of wasting my time talking about everything else. I have a singer HD0450S Heavy Duty serger and would love to see a video on troubleshooting and how to adjust WIDTH adjustments, timing issues and exact upper & lower looper measurements, needle measurements, etc. I would also love to know where I can buy a service manual, not just the operating manual. I had one for my old Brother 1034D but cannot find one for this machine. The manual isn’t very much help, and I prefer to have a hands on manual.

I'm new to sewing, and after putting my Singer Start to the test for a couple of months, I now know that it's just not going to cut it. I just ordered the Singer Heavy Duty 4452 from the Singer web site. I want to be able to service this myself, and your video will be a huge help when I feel the need to do some light maintenance. Just bought a 64S and wanted to know how to take it apart properly to oil inside -- Have had a Singer 860 (diana) for many years (purchased new in 1981) and the manual actually showed you what to do. The manual for this new one doesn't so very much appreciate you have made this video to help us keep our machines in good running order!

Thank you! My 4423 indeed came with with no oiling or maintenance instructions. Machine 10 yrs. Used quite a bit. I knew sewing machines need oiling on a regular basis so i had oiled wherever i saw moving parts. I hadn't removed top but had removed part of bottom before when a screw dropped down. Machine looked good. My grandmother and mother would have been proud (professional seamstresses). APPRECIATED YOUR VIDEO SO MUCH! Hard to find good thorough info on these Singer workhorses. I have a new Juki which i love, but the little Singer is just as fast and powerful. Glad I've kept it for zigzag capabilities and handy to have extra machine. There is one small issue with the Heavy Duty. When needle is set to the center (not left or right) it is not directly in the center
Great video! I learned something today. 10:46 - with that side cover off the pressure foot tensioner knob can (from fully down) rotate 36- 180 degree counter-clockwise turns until it threads of top of machine. With side cover in place, the knob can only rotate(from all the way down), 10 - 180 degrees counterclockwise, until the knob will hit the underside(top portion) of the side cover.

I have a HD6335M and had removed the bracket to the left of the needle to remove the bobbin holder -- I then proceeded to drop the bracket + one of the screws into the machine. I was feeling quite scared about pulling the machine apart to retrieve the items, but your video made it so easy. Even better, now I know that I don't even need to remove that bracket in future. Anyway thanks so much, my machine is cleaned from top to bottom and I'm feeling quite empowered having done it myself.

Thank you for a great video! It was just the info I needed while I was replacing the LED light on my HD4432. Managed to swat two flies with one blow: new LED and a lubed machine!
I have a 4411 and was able to follow you exactly step by step. My "AhHa" moments were how you removed the bobbin case, all the oil wicks Singer never mentions in the manual, tightening the presser foot pressure screw, and the button hole stitch length adjuster. Having previously removed the bobbin case by removing that little bracket, your video showed that I had tightened things up a bit too much since the top thread needs a little wiggle room to get past the bobbin case. That's now working well. I chuckled when the thread flew off when you were winding the bobbin. AFAIK, that vertical post is only for simple wrap spools, and the horizontal post is for cross wrap spools. One other thing that was different than what I had learned before was to position the spool so the thread comes off from the back of the spool. To me it looked like you put on the spool upside down. Great video though. Thank you so much for posting it.
I believe the 6000C is an electronic machine, unfortunately I do not have a video on the electronic heavy duty series but the mechanical parts should be the same or similar. Make sure to take plenty of pictures.
I have a 4423. I had trouble with the bobbin case so i took off the needle plate to watch what was happening as it ran but the bobbin case kept popping out. Then i found out from TH-cam that the needle plate holds the bobbin case in place, and thats why it kept popping out. I prefer the old metal vertical bobbin cases Very informative video with some nice tips, i will put my finger on the bobbin next time i thread it but i won't use the vertical post to wind a bobbin. Best explanation of when to change the pressure I have heard in 60 years of sewing. I only a few years ago learned to raise the foot while threading. Once i saw inside it's much like my older machines but i have never oiled a machine.

Use a cotton swab to clean inside the hook and inside the machine. Dirt and lint sticks to them. In the center of the hook is called an oil wick and same at the motor shaft ends.
Thank you so much for this detailed video! I grabbed one of these at the goodwill for 15$ I can tell it’s had heavy use and I’m going to service it per your video. I do so one issue with mine that isn’t something you covered: the stitch length is stuck on the longest setting even though the dial seems to turn normally. I’m hoping to see what the problem is once it’s open but I’ve never encountered this with a machine in the past. Crossing my fingers that I can DIY it!
I have a Singer HD105C, which nobody (not even Singer themselves) has any information about. Singer customer service said "well, it looks like it's similar to the HD110 so just use that manual". However quite a lot of the internals of mine are similar to your example here so I appreciate the video and the info!

I was having a problem with the handwheel being very difficult to turn and when I did turn it there was a popping sound coming from under presser foot?? Well I oiled everything you said and nothing worked until I oiled the small shaft that has something to do with feet “dugs”…anyway once I oiled that it was like a miracle!!! Thank you!
I have the 4423. I bought mine several years ago, and it still runs like new. Originally, I wanted to sew denim. It does that. Now I've learned to quilt with it. At first, I had trouble with 1/4 inch seams . Then, I figured it out, and now it's one of my favorites. I like that I can hem jeans, do mening, crafts, clothing and c quilting.
Thank you for showing the different stitches. That has been the hardest part for me. Figuring out the settings to get the best stitches and which stitch to use for different projects.
I really like my 4452, especially the speed. I have several fancy machines, but probably use this one the most. It was really dirty but I couldn't figure out how to get into the bobbin case. Your video was TERRIFIC and now my machine and I are very happy!!! Thank you so much.

I just picked up a 4452 at Goodwill for $19.99. I found that it had a problem and fixed it and now I have a great sewing machine.

I just bought a Singer Heavy Duty 6360M. I have never owned a Singer I learned by working at a fabric store that Singers came back a lot but people like the heavy duty. I’ve been sewing a lot of bags with vinyl and needed something with some more strength. Seems to be a decent machine
One of the biggest problems I see with them is they skip time when sewing heavy materials at fast speeds. the timing belt is a little small and is not as tight as it should be.
It can be tightened with the idler pulley which can be reached by taking the bottom off
One tip I wd add is that you cd actually use small pieces of masking tape to tape the screws removed to the piece they came out of -i.e. bottom plate, side plate, top, etc. That wd help in making sure the right screws went back in the correct places. Very good video overall.
I do that too!! I use the blue painter's tape and tape them down to the p lace they came from or write on the tape. Good comment!
Absolutely incredible instruction, even for this non-mechanical sewer! I was so lacking in confidence, I didn't think I'd be able to get the covers off, especially the top one, as it was tricky. But I did everything except under the machine, which I'll save for another day. I learned a lot and gained major confidence. My machine is now purring like a ... well, like a well-oiled machine. I've loved my Singer 4452 since I bought it two years ago, but now I love it even more, knowing I can perform this maintenance myself. You are a patient, knowledgeable, and superb educator! Ten bucks coming your way (what a bargain!).

Thanks so much for this video. I have had my HD for several years and used it for heavy projects including all vinyl handbags. I have sewn through up to 8 layers of marine vinyl. It’s been a great machine but definitely needs servicing and I have never found directions for doing so. I’m thankful your video came up in my suggested videos.

This is awesome. This is my machine, and I have beat the hell out of it, never serviced. It's a great machine, but it costs as much to have serviced as to buy a new one! Now I can keep it out of a landfill, and learn a lot at the same time!

There are many reasons reverse would not work especially from machine to machine.
What machine are you having reverse problems with?

The 22 and 12 have two completely different reverse mechanisms 158 is a series number and should be followed by a dot or period and then the actual model number.

Thanks for instructive video. My model is a Singer 4423 and I love having an excuse to get sewing on it. I fix all our clothes and my wife's clothes as well. I think it is a good machine. My mum was a seamstress when we were growing up here in the UK, her machines were always singer, when we were real young she worked a hand cranked machine, then on to a treadle operated and lastly an electric machine. She worked hard all day making clothes for factories, which I would find utterly boring but at the time just after the war things were tight to say the least. Thanks again for video.

Yes that is exactly what I did then used sand paper to smooth it out.

Hi Richard your video is excellent. My machine is exactly like yours but it’s the 4432. I took out the two top screws behind the handle but did not see any others, yet the top will not come off! Is there another screw? I oil everywhere you showed but can’t do the top. Help please.

If you manage to get singer service on the phone, they will tell you that the "heavy duty" only applies to the motor. I had one and took it back. It wasn't balanced well enough for the motor speed, and tried to shake itself off the table.
My wife and I just picked up a 6620C. Getting to know the machine is just as fun as using it to make projects.
Mine is 4423
The main difference between the two machines. Singer 4411 has 11 built-in stitches which include 6 Basic Stitches, 4 Decorative Stitches and 1 auto 4-step buttonhole. Singer 4423 is more advanced in the number of built-in stitches.
I have a Singer Heavy Duty 4452. I like that it’s a mechanical device that is unlikely to throw any hissy fits that will give me a hard time. I really like it, especially the setting for sewing and overcasting a seam all at the same time. I’ve had it for a couple of years. My son just oiled the little oil wick under the throat-plate this week. I also like the simplicity in changing out the presser foot and I put a sheet of paper over the throat plate when changing the needle so there’s no way my old fingers will drop the needle down the needle hole. LOL nothing but singer 44 series model problems here, I just opened mine up and plastic gears and cams everywhere...pure junk, heavy duty my butt! Plastic fantastic chinese junk! Why did I open it up? reversing on the button hole crapped out, not even worth trying to fix it... It did about three shirts ( about 18 button holes before it died)....200 bucks singer got me for! You'll never get me again Singer! oh sure i could probaby fix it, but how long will it be again before im back inside that plastic stuff again??? Just toss the junk in the trash can and move on to an older better machine
Totally opposite here. No problems and I sew every day. I love my machine.
I’m just 15mins into this video and my jammed machine has relaxed. When cleaning the underneath, I heard a loud pop, I didn’t know where the sound came from and to my surprise, the hand wheel was free. I’m so happy.
This video I live in small town and our repair sewing guy retired so I have to do myself and with your video awesome I can do it. Plus like bobbin and threading information I learned a lot on that too.. I have model # 4423

Thanks so much for a demystifying and thorough walk through of the Singer HD service. After two years of fairly regular use and only bobbin case oil it was great to feel confident enough to open the Silver Fox (HD 4423) and give her some TLC.

I have Singer HD 4423 ans was searching for a solution for my bottom thread get stuck, as I came across this I look at your instruction carefully especially when you note to turn the housing to the opening to get the bobbin case off and back on, amazing! if you have thread jammed problem and bobbins spinning or catching problem, pay close attention to this part.
I was having problem with the bottom thread get stuck around the bobbin. This resolved my issue as I took out the bobbin case to clean I found that it was not sitting in the housing correctly so the needle and the hook is not working properly and got caught wounding around the case. I fixed the issue and reseated the case and now I'm back sewing!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for your help 👏👏👏

I don’t know if you work on this, but I enjoy listening to you because you only talk about what needs to be talked about instead of wasting my time talking about everything else. I have a singer HD0450S Heavy Duty serger and would love to see a video on troubleshooting and how to adjust WIDTH adjustments, timing issues and exact upper & lower looper measurements, needle measurements, etc. I would also love to know where I can buy a service manual, not just the operating manual. I had one for my old Brother 1034D but cannot find one for this machine. The manual isn’t very much help, and I prefer to have a hands on manual.

I'm new to sewing, and after putting my Singer Start to the test for a couple of months, I now know that it's just not going to cut it. I just ordered the Singer Heavy Duty 4452 from the Singer web site. I want to be able to service this myself, and your video will be a huge help when I feel the need to do some light maintenance. Just bought a 64S and wanted to know how to take it apart properly to oil inside -- Have had a Singer 860 (diana) for many years (purchased new in 1981) and the manual actually showed you what to do. Thank you! My 4423 indeed came with with no oiling or maintenance instructions. Machine 10 yrs. Used quite a bit. I knew sewing machines need oiling on a regular basis so i had oiled wherever i saw moving parts. I hadn't removed top but had
removed part of bottom before when a screw dropped down. Machine looked good. My grandmother and mother would have been proud (professional seamstresses). APPRECIATED YOUR VIDEO SO MUCH! Hard to find good thorough info on these Singer workhorses. I have a new Juki which i love, but the little Singer is just as fast and powerful. Glad I've kept it for zigzag capabilities and handy to have extra machine. There is one small issue with the Heavy Duty. When needle is set to the center (not left or right) it is not directly in the center

Great video! I learned something today. 10:46 - with that side cover off the pressure foot tensioner knob can (from fully down) rotate 36- 180 degree counter-clockwise turns until it threads of top of machine. With side cover in place, the knob can only rotate(from all the way down), 10 - 180 degrees counterclockwise, until the knob will hit the underside(top portion) of the side cover.

Yes, you are correct but I’m not sure you would want to sew with it any higher than what the cover allows.

I have a HD6335M and had removed the bracket to the left of the needle to remove the bobbin holder -- I then proceeded to drop the bracket + one of the screws into the machine. I was feeling quite scared about pulling the machine apart to retrieve the items, but your video made it so easy. Even better, now I know that I don't even need to remove that bracket in future. Anyway thanks so much, my machine is cleaned from top to bottom and I'm feeling quite empowered having done it myself.

Thank you for a great video! It was just the info I needed while I was replacing the LED light on my HD4432. Managed to swat two flies with one blow: new LED and a lubed machine!
I have a 4411 and was able to follow you exactly step by step. My "AhHa" moments were how you removed the bobbin case, all the oil wicks Singer never mentions in the manual, tightening the presser foot pressure screw, and the button hole stitch length adjuster. Having previously removed the bobbin case by removing that little bracket, your video showed that I had tightened things up a bit too much since the top thread needs a little wiggle room to get past the bobbin case. That's now working well.
I chuckled when the thread flew off when you were winding the bobbin. AFAIK, that vertical post is only for simple wrap spools, and the horizontal post is for cross wrap spools. One other thing that was different than what I had learned before was to position the spool so the thread comes off from the back of the spool. To me it looked like you put on the spool upside down.

I believe the 6000C is an electronic machine, unfortunately I do not have a video on the electronic heavy duty series but the mechanical parts should be the same or similar. Make sure to take plenty of pictures.

I have a 4423. I had trouble with the bobbin case so i took off the needle plate to watch what was happening as it ran but the bobbin case kept popping out. Then i found out from TH-cam that the needle plate holds the bobbin case in place, and thats why it kept popping out. I prefer the old metal vertical bobbin cases Very informative video with some nice tips, i will put my finger on the bobbin next time i thread it but i won't use the vertical post to wind a bobbin. Best explanation of when to change the pressure I have heard in 60 years of sewing. I only a few years ago learned to raise the foot while threading. Once i saw inside it's much like my older machines but i have never oiled a machine.

Use a cotton swab to clean inside the hook and inside the machine. Dirt and lint sticks to them. In the center of the hook is called an oil wick and same at the motor shaft ends.

I do so one issue with mine that isn’t something you covered: the stitch length is stuck on the longest setting even though the dial seems to turn normally. I’m hoping to see what the problem is once it’s open but I’ve never encountered this with a machine in the past. Crossing my fingers that I can DIY it!

I have a Singer HD105C, which nobody (not even Singer themselves) has any information about. Singer customer service said "well, it looks like it's similar to the HD110 so just use that manual". However quite a lot of the internals of mine are similar to your example here so I appreciate the video and the info!

I’ve been using my new 6380M that I’ve had for about two weeks. So far it’s been great. Sews nicely through canvas.
I purchased a 5532 years ago and stopped using it because I was not pleased with the stitches. This video was interesting and I will watch it again. Hopefully, I can improve the stitches and not allow this machine to continue to collect dust.

This video was amazing! Very detailed instructions! I just serviced my singer 4452. I was having a problem with the handwheel being very difficult to turn and when I did turn it there was a popping sound coming from under presser foot?? Well I oiled everything you said and nothing worked until I oiled the small shaft that has something to do with feet “dugs”…anyway once I oiled that it was like a miracle!!! Thank you!

I have the 4423. I bought mine several years ago, and it still runs like new.
Originally, I wanted to sew denim. It does that. Now I've learned to quilt with it. At first, I had trouble with 1/4 inch seams . Then, I figured it out, and now it's one of my favorites.
I like that I can hem jeans, do mening, crafts, clothing and c quilting.
Thank you for showing the different stitches. That has been the hardest part for me. Figuring out the settings to get the best stitches and which stitch to use for different projects.
I really like my 4452, especially the speed. I have several fancy machines, but probably use this one the most. It was really dirty but I couldn't figure out how to get into the bobbin case. Your video was TERRIFIC and now my machine and I are very happy!!! Thank you so much.
