First video I came to. This makes me feel a lot better… I was really dreading taking out the whole track. I replaced all the window seals and track seals in my ram charger and taking out the window and all that stuff was a pain in the ass.
My new motor (Dorman) case is plastic and the three mounting holes aren’t threaded. Was yours plastic? I don’t know of I am supposed to cut threads with the old bolts.

Does the window have to be up all the way when you pull the motor?
Yes all the way up will keep your glass out of the way.
