This is exactly the bike I'm going to get! I love it so much that I just have to have it. But if the brakes are really so bad like everybody says, I'll maybe upgrade them if that's possible..
Single cylinder!? They need to bring back a bike similar to the VFR and RVF 400s little V4s that love to scream or the straight fours. I have a RVF couldn't think of a bike I'd rather have more.
Dave Probert lol no worries, I'm used to riding horribly cramped bikes. Tbh, it's probably not worth the effort though, it would be much easier to find a zxr400 or something.
They haven't came back out with those because of the fact that many of the people who buy these bikes aren't always beginners or are getting into motorcycling to save money on commuting compared to driving their cars. I'm sure now days you could probably get a good 60 mpg from a little 4 cylinder but then again the manufacturers are also feeling out the market place to see what kind of sales they get. In my opinion it makes sense for them to come out with singles before coming out with smaller four cylinder bikes again. Hopefully we'll see those soon though since the 250-500 class has been doing really well.
Nice review, i myself bought rc390 about 2 weeks back and i am loving it. Only little quirk i feel is when i am braking hard it feels like the rear brake pad under my foot shakes a little bit is that just the ABS kicking in or do i need to get it looked at.
The only thing that would get to me if I was young again is how similar it looks to the rc125. When I passed my test I wanted to jump on not only something more powerful but physically different and bigger than a 125. Bet it's fun to ride though :)
for some reason there is a lack of bikes in this 350-400cc range. there are bikes upto 250cc then they are 500cc and up. KTM will sell few of these as there is very little competition in this class
Never mind youngsters: If I didn't have an RS250 in the garage I'd buy one of these... And I passed my test in 1969! Another clear and concise appraisal... Well done Neevesy but I have told you before about that bloody awful music. If they were RC390's going past you when you were in the pits then yes, I like the sound of Moto3.
+Paul Valakelis different rake in the front end on the rc , subframe different , and the duke has a 11ltr tank , rc has a 10 ltr tank. and a few more differences.
Sweet bike :D I love the looks of it
Wish they had bikes like this when I was 19. Very nice ride.
That's by far the best looking

Good on ya Michael, Thanks
please bring it to Canada, my daughter would luv this as her first street bike!!
His face when the other bikes on the track went past lol.

Honda MC22... 250 inline 4 that revs up to like 1900 or something stupid. I want one, but they're impossible to find in the uk.
Liam J Getting one from Japan should not be too hard, they are cool little things, too small for my liking tho and I'm only 5'9.

Is this coming to Canada/USA?

I love how they (KTM) have clearly left room for an extra Caliper on the front...
Awesome awesome bike
is it comfortable for long ride in highway????plz some1 reply it
Any idea on a US dollar price as of yet?
will probably be around the $6500 mark.

Yes, vanity can lead to poor decision making.
elfspicer What 19 year old isn't vain on a bike though and at 19 I made plenty of poor decisions ;)

At 19 I was riding a 1200...
Oh... Sorry, UK.

But what's the difference between the Duke 390 and the RC390? Differently tuned engines but isn't it more or less the same bike?
Yes, it is more or less the same bike but with super-sports styling rather than funky roadster styling.
different chassis

😍😍😍
Then the wheels explode like the Duke 390s :D
makes about 44hp not 43
That 1hp must make all the difference.
lol
Cummooooon MCN.....Pan pipes on a review??
Fuck me a video where neeves doesn't mention a fucking bmw lol!
Glad you liked it. Neevesy. MCN

Just 2000 pounds in india
Uday Singh can you bring them to the UK?
It's so unbelievably ugly, not a big ktm fan although I do love their motocross bikes!
not a lot of bike for the money
