Girl I wondered what happened to you. Sorry to hear about the storms but so glad you’re ok. I missed you! Your house is magazine worthy. Absolutely gorgeous. I recognized some of the same piece I have. Like a few lamps,pottery,pewter,punched tin and the picture in the bedroom with the girl holding a rose. I love it. My husband and I were supposed to go to West Jefferson tomorrow to go “antiquing “ but we had to change our plans. Three weeks ago a big can of green beans fell on my big toe and it still hurts. Don’t think I’ll be able to go everywhere I wanted to because that’s a lot of walking. Maybe in a few weeks we can head out. What a bummer. I am excited to tour your moms home. You (and your Mom ~ I saw your parents' home video first) have a real knack for finding things and putting them together in a most pleasing way. I've loved antiques all my life and had the opportunity to search for them in a multitude of places as a military wife on the move. I recognize lots of boxes and furniture pieces from your videos that I probably walked right past ~ not recognizing how good they would look combined with other like items. It was just a real pleasure to view all of this beautifully culled primitive eye candy! I'm a definite subscriber now. Bridgett, where do you find the fabric on top of your tables and chest? I think you once say they were piece of carpet, but where do you find them. Maybe you could do a DIY on finding and cutting them . Your topiary video was the best !

Your home is SO gorgeous! My favorite room is the "red" bedroom with the red checked settee As soon as you entered that room I knew I wanted to stay there and have a cup of tea and snuggle in for a good read! Wonderful decor everywhere including the charming bathrooms. Your cozy TV room was comfy but still prim and colonial. Also your choice of music was perfect. I felt like I was back in the 1700s. Just adore hour videos. They are so homey and casual and filled with history. And that tall case clock makeover is stunning. And happy to see you didn't paint that Button armed chair. It's character takes one back to 1700 when chairs like that were well used. Yes, we lost trees too but praise the Lord our power stayed on. The wind and ice raged for 2 days here in Michigan. So happy you are getting back to normal. Sorry this is so ,long but I had lots to say. 😃😃 God bless you and family. Your hard work is appreciated.

Kathy those are little pieces of old oriental rugs. I find them at primitive shows and have found some at flea markets.
