This home is awesome and so wonderful that they are able to be surrounded by things they love. Best part was showing that in a primitive home, the primitives don’t need anything as they speak for themselves! Thank you again Bridgett for another fantastic home! 😊
Now Bridgett I have a problem. As I watched this wonderful video I thought, this is my favorite one. Then I watch your next video and I think, oh. this is my favorite one. Well Bridgett now i realize that my favorite video is the one I am watching!!! Well done once again to highlight the beauty of simplicity and function. Also to show how a modern day home can be made to look as it it is in the 18th century. It indeed fools the eye.
You would never know how authentic this home is from the outside. The front door is just a little hint and all those millstones. It is a masterpiece of authenticity. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! A grinding stone garden! And the interior! I think what I love the most is that while no, these two don’t live in a saltbox or whatever it would have been, they have still managed to have the home that is home to them. They are surrounded with the things they love. I think this must be what the old saying “Bloom where you are planted “ must mean. This is truly an incredible home. Thank you, sweet Bridgett.
So many wonderful wood pieces--furniture, smalls, repaired wooden bowls, etc.!!! The owners of this home sure did a great job transforming their interior into an authentic-looking 18th century home! What a lot of passionate work, and well done!!!
Love the mill wheels and sheep in the yard. Lots of wonderful antiques beautifully displayed. Thanks Ann , Mickey and Bridgett. Love and blessings❤️❤️❤️
It's quite clear a lot of thought has gone into the internal architectural features and finish of the rooms of the house as well as how it is furnished and colour matched with the overall decor. Amazing! Not sure how comfortable it would be to sit downstairs and relax for me personally but I love the simplicity of it all. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
It’s all so wonderful! I especially love all of her treen and leather-bound books. Thank you Ann for letting us into your gorgeous home. Thank you Bridgett for the work you do for us to be able to tour so many great homes. I certainly do appreciate you so very much!
I've only begun to watch. If these people really live in there. It's like living in a museum. Old, dark, well used, and even dirty. I could not live in there. But wonderful for them that can. Most certainly hope they enjoy it. It's wonderful to see and I thank them for sharing.
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching! I know everyone has different taste but I assure you, you could eat off of Ann’s floors!! It was spotless!!Many blessings to you!
You are close to my hometown, I live 30 minutes north east of Indianapolis. This home is a hidden treasure. All of the millstones are glorious!!! Thank you Bridgett for always bringing us amazing videos.
Bridgette, didn’t want it to end. It is like walking back in time for sure. Loved everything, floors, ceiling, furniture and especially her doors inside. You must have so fun checking these great houses. Thank you so much❤️
Love this home!!! Wat ive noticed in alot of these homes is theres not alot of art on the walls its more shelves and such also ive noticed alot dont have potted plants around. Love it
Those millstones !!! The garden is beautiful how everything is laid out and placed . The front door gives you a hint of what is to come. So admire the talent of Ann and Mickey for following their passion for the 18th century. Thank you Bridgett for another stunning home. Have a great Independence Day🇺🇸
Don't know which I enjoy the most, the gardens or the house. Both are wonderful. Thank you Ann and Mickey for sharing your home. Thank you, Bridgett for such a wonderful video. Always keep my eye out looking for the next one. Love them.
I loved seeing a new home on the outside so full of wonderful antiques. It was like a step back in time! Thank you so much for all your great videos!!!Where did they get all the mill stones???
Oh my goodness! Wonderful tour. It is like you are time traveling. So beautifully done. I want to know if all of those wall doors around the fireplaces in the rooms or on the wall are hiding modern details or just faux. I really wanted to open all of those doors because they really made the authenticity superb.
Just amazing and enjoyed ever minute of this video. Very minimalist. Loved all of the chairs. Need to find me another one to go with my early windsor chair. Janice
I'm lost for words that's how beautiful this home is. I was wondering what the round stones are outside around the house I've seem them in alot of videos but not sure what they are?
Hi Bridgett! My name is Lori Godey and I live in Maryland. I am just borrowing my sweet hubby's account! You are doing such a great job and I just want to come down and have tea and scones with you and your sweet Mama! Quick question, in this video, what is the wooden object laying on the master bedroom's bed? Thank you so much and keep up the good work! God bless!
Thank you so much Lori for coming back every week to watch my new videos and for your sweet comment! I sure do appreciate you! That wooden thing on the bed is a “rope tightener” that they would have used on their rope beds. Blessings!❤️
