    Thanks for the video and explanation on summarizing the lists of CB cards and also suggestion.
    The issue with the cards, a lot of limit on certain categories.
    Citibank is good but it has 1 issue, have to ask for waiving the annual fee. They are very arrogant (like Maybank), they can say they don't want to give. Have to call few agents to find 1 of them who is willingly to waive the annual fee. Bloody headache.
    Right now, the cards are changing to Master card, hopefully no issue.

    • @ZietInvests
      @ZietInvests  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah requesting for annual fee waiver is a hit or miss, not everyone will be approved, not sure whether its because they have been recently sold off to UOB?

    hi Ziet, thanks for the informative video . My current setup is using New RHB Shell Gold CC (50+50) + Normal Citi CashBack CC (40) so i do get RM140, monthly and like your advice currently i am keeping tabs on which card should i spend on by keeping a record of it weekly. i would like to see another video for those people who really able to hit those high tier cash backs. would you be making another video to show how can we achieve cashback of RM2.4 - 3K? likely this would be aiming for those M40 -m3/m4 household income range which can fairly easily hitting above monthly spending of 4-5K outstanding balance

    Is it a normal thing for bank to send u a credit card even tho u never apply one? As a heavy Maybank user (bc it's closest to my house haha) Maybank sent me a Ikhwan credit card last time and that is what I hv been using for the last 6 months. I always use credit card to pay utility bills, rental and insurance only. Never thought about credit card cashback thingy but the Citibank one sounds pretty awesome yet thinking of the process of applying new credit card and terminate the existing one made me hesitate tho😅 as always, thank u Ziet for the informative video!!

      Hmmm, very unusual but definitely not the first time I stumble upon this, I have read about forumers getting credit card even though they did not apply for it, best to check with the bank coz there's SST service charge fee (RM 25/year) even if you dont use it, tho its not the worst thing!
      Citibank - watchout for the retail outlets supported (esp. no AEON max value etc.), best to read the T&C first ya! I would go for UOB ONE Platinum instead!

    Ziet, for HSBC Amanah, the annual fee is free if you make 12 swipes each year. To me, it sounds like a better deal. The only hurdle is to spend 2,000 monthly. The idea is to just top up TnG to meet that amount haha but not sure if TnG will flag it as fraudulent transaction.

    Nice info, but I think sticking to only one credit card will work better in long run-especially for points? my BSN teachers credit card is more valueble. BSN credit cards - no annual fee, I spend all on e-wallet topup. All online and offline payments, transfers are done through e-wallet app. Every 40k points, I choose petrol/tng vouchers. Every few months I get RM100 vouchers. I don't like to carry/use many cards, hence sticking to one will work for me. Not going to remember all those cards and usage anyway. Hence everything through e-wallet.

    I am a fresh grad currently working in Singapore. Just wanted to ask if I would like to improve my CCRIS and CTOS, can a Singaporean registered credit card do the trick? If not, I have to apply credit cards in Malaysia and spend it locally (in MY) right? Are there any Malaysian registered credit cards that can be spent in Singapore & contribute to CCRIS and CTOS at the same time?
    Thanks for your time on reading this! ✨

    • @thenobleman4557

      CCRIS and CTOS are used in Malaysia so I think you have to use a Malaysian bank credit card for them to track your credit history, but you can use the credit card anywhere in any currencies, provided you pay the bill on time. Thats what the CCRIS and CTOS's functions for.
