    Thanks for the video. I have a 220 that’s identical. It ran a year or so ago. Hoping to get it running again for my son to terrorize my lawn.

      That should be an easy fix! If you still have the oem carburetor make sure you clean that vs going with a china carb, the oem always is more reliable and runs better.

    First things first-great video!! I have an 08 bayou and all the info on it (original) is on a sticker attached to the seat (go figure) its on the seat an you aint got one but thats usually the main info where you see the year make model but theres also a sticker on the underside of frame on the front. My 250 bayou runs like a champ, but def has some electrical issues that involve a lot of time spent following wires and such, which your vid help me with greatly! Thank you very much!

      I always go off of the vin number, i have never looked at the seat label to see if there is info. The bayous are tanks though! IF it runs it will for a very long time!

    I’ve never came across a Bayou that wouldn’t run with a little tinkering. They are probably the most well built and toughest quads ever produced. I know Honda has a good rep but I’ve owned everything and the build quality on the Bayous always impresses me. Just solid, simple, reliable and capable quads.

    • @TheATVHustle

      They really are, I prefer the Honda recon over the bayou but the bayous are always a solid machine when running right.

    Unless this was a gift from a relative, you did not pick this up for $50. The wheels alone are worth $200, the body alone at least $100, and the engine, even if seized, $100. So, let's say $500. And if fixed up, $1500 to $2000.

    • @TheATVHustle
      @TheATVHustle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope just a guy I have bought other stuff from. I spend a lot of time tracking down deals. 90%of the time I won’t even buy the cheap bayous since they are a hard sale. There is no getting any more than $1600 for a bayou where I live.

    If you buy a non running junker that has a cdi. Can you test them to see if there any good or is it a no sell because you don't know ?

    • @TheATVHustle

      You can’t test them, I would say like 90% of what we buy has an obvious mechanical issue

    Did you get it sold, man? I started watching your channel last night. I got a King Quad 300 delivered to my house for $300 bucks, yo! Going to be parting it and a couple of Yamaha Badger 80s out. Happy days

      @@TheATVHustle hope your emergency situation is better. Thanks for doing your videos. I didn't grow up knowing anything about engines and I didn't own a socket set until after college (unfortunately about 3/8 & 1/2 SAE set instead of metric as my first sets) Had to start doing a lot of my own vehicle work and have slowly been gaining knowledge over the past 7 years, which is about how long I have dabbled on Ebay. It became obvious to me at some point that things with engines sell better parted out but I haven't had the space for normal vehicles so it occurred to me to start looking for four wheelers a few weeks back. I can tell that you're disciplined enough to be self employed, which is not a natural thing for us folks that were brainwashed into working jobs to make money. I think that is a good topic for you to make a video on. Your channel should take off with subscribers and all that if you stick with making video content. Later!

    • @rustywalleye2875
      @rustywalleye2875 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrAlternation I thought it was a king quad! It turned out to be a 1987 lt-f4wd and it came with a 1999 king quad plastic that didn't fit. The guy had it listed for $200 and I told him that I wanted to buy it but I needed to ask .6 neighbor if I could borrow his truck because mine has problems. He offered to bring it to me for some extra money so I gave him an extra $100 bucks because he lives an hour and a half from me. I realized it wasn't a king quad because I could not get the front plastic to fit but it is the king quad's predecessor with all the features that make the king quad great!
