If there’s no power at the plug for the tails, you’ll have to trace the source back to the fuse box. I’m thinking if it’s the harness for the wrong trim, that is probably the reason. If you can’t find it, I’d recommend shooting a message to South Main Auto here on TH-cam. He’s incredibly smart with wiring.

Multimetre time it is. But fist, if you still have your oem tail light i would try with them first. Maybe the after market one took a hit.
In the end maybe you will have to repin the tail light connector wich is not that big of a deal. If you dont feel confortable with that ask a friend who knows how to rrad a wiring diagram etc.
Edit : Just saw in another comment you tried the oem one😅

At this point you’ll need to get a hold of a Service Manual and someone handy with a Multimeter to test continuity while being able to read the schematics. I’m wondering if there’s a relay in between that is burnt out.
Additionally to rule out operations of your current tail lights have you tried plugging in your stock Tail lights or another known good working set?
Either way best of luck my bruddah. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

@@Ox576447 yeah gonna have to dive deeper into the diagnosis but to add, I did try the oem tails and it’s the same as the Alpha Rex. Brake and turn signals work just no running lights.
Thanks for commenting and watching 💯🤞🏽

@@desmondsimmonsglad to have that ruled out. Now on to the more difficult part of troubleshooting.
