Didn't you install the 4th brake light from AlphaRex? The brake light taps into your tail lights so it would explain turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights not working. My guess is the lighting or wiring from AlphaRex.

I had a similar problem on my Lexus IS250 08 model last week. I changed the checked all fuses on the passenger side and drivers including the ones next to the battery, but it never worked. After more research i took out the Amp which is located in the trunk. Blow out the dust and replaced it, and every worked. Radio is working including all controls on the Radio

My GR86 is 2 years old but my engine bay is clean as the day I picked it up. What's with ppl neglecting their engine bay?

I have used carbon fiber hoods on many vehicles and they always end up looking terrible. The structure itself will hold up, but the clear and sheen will start to deteriorate in less than 5 years unless you keep it covered a majority of the time. Even then the heat expansion from getting hot and cooling will eventually start to crack the finish. These things go from looking cool to trashy real quick.

Deff an install error. I have a boosted GR86 with the JDL kit with a Koyorad radiator and a front mounted Jackson Racing oil cooler and I’ve never seen over 201 engine temps or 201 oil temps even after a couple pulls and I live in Arizona.

What do you think about supercharging the car instead of turbo?

My stock auto gr86 is at 38k Miles since last December when i bought it . Ill never boost mine ill maybe upgrade headers intake and exhaust. But really car is meant for non ethanol 93. I think car is fine enough without boos just need to get lighter with carbon fiber and and weight reduction

I have turbo several builds including a EVO 2008. I think with these modern cars it seems risky to build and turbo because of all the sensors these days that try to drive the car for us! LOL I wanted to turbo my 86 2023 but paused! I have seen several videos lately of turbo fails. MY QUESTION? is it safe to turbo new modern car or is it more risk. In the end I feel the GR 86 2023 is the perfect balanced car out the factory. First car I felt did not need a lot .....track ready:)

I’m stock in terms of power mods and sometimes when I do a hard pull from a stop the my car with also say I’m in reverse when I’m in second gear. But when it does that I can’t accelerate at all, I’ve gotta take it out of gear and then back in and that fixes it. Weird to see that is happening to other people as well

2 Brz in a month on turbo go down. I know they are both user error but it makes me feel a bit better about supercharging it with low boost. But you’re right supporting mods are Paramount

230 is high for oil temps on these cars. With the oil cooler my car 22 Brz runs around 180-190 cruising
