You're 24. Visit University campus. University of Ghana is right across from osu. There's an African American department there so you can connect with expats & have your first campus tour. In fact Maya Angelou once taught there and some important African leaders Schooled or taught there. Might be something you love.

@anonymous6594 That's the whole points. Most 24 year Olds in Ghana are on campuses. If he visits on Friday, it'll be a great time to meet women of his age, see events on campus and give his audience something different yet authentic

The art pieces looked very good and it will go a long way when you buy to promote those artists. Artwork, curios (sourvenirs) are a big deal all over Africa. There are tonnes of them in Kenya especially curios if you go for touristy stuff and many shops store them including the famous Maasai markets. Get yourself a Kente fabric shirt made to fit since you are in Ghana. Nothing screams Ghana more than a Kente fabric. Enjoyed the tour to the Nkrumah mausoleum.

Unless you're implying that Ghana and Nigeria are very unsafe so visitors need a tour guide. Sheesh! You west Africans. What tour guide will take you round for free? Why don't you go and visit the castles (slave dungeons) where and other historical places that links Ghana to the diaspora. DUBOIS, considered to the greatest African American intellectual is burried in Ghana, so is Padmore the father of pan Africanism visited these historical places. Interview the growing African American communities living in Ghana. You are a young man, so I guess your priorities are different. There is nothing wrong with that. Africa is big enough to suit everybody I am glad you like Kenya: we are one, that is what pan Africanism is. To each, his own!
