    Same experience here. Keep making videos with the 11 inch because I went from the bigger iPad to this size as well. It’s perfect for me. I love how light it is and that screen is beautiful.

      Nice, I find that if you use an iPad as a secondary device (which you probably should)- 11” is perfect. thanks for watching and your comment 🙌

    Hey there! I'm torn between the 216GB and 512GB models of the iPad Pro M4, and I could really use your input. I'm aiming to keep this iPad for a long time, so storage is a crucial factor. On one hand, the 216GB version seems more budget-friendly (considering that I'd like to buy both the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro), but I might need to rely on external storage down the line (I would appreciate if you'd recommend any good external memory options) On the other hand, the 512GB model offers ample storage, ensuring I never have to worry about running out of space. But is it worth the extra cost? What do you think? Should I opt for the peace of mind with the 512GB model, or go for the 216GB version and invest in external storage? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

      The 256gb has always been ample capacity for me. But then again I don’t store huge files on my iPad… which I imagine you might if you were doing something like video editing.
      From my own personal perspective, I’d save the $200 in favour of either a drive or cloud storage. I use Google drive to store most things so capacity really isn’t an issue for me.
      These drives have incredible read/write speeds: amzn.to/3ywX8EN

    Great video, what storage spec did you choose and is there any reason to go for the 16 ram for productivity?

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Mine's the 256GB WIFI only model. I genuinely don't think you'll notice a performance gain unless you're using this for some seriously heavy workflows - like intense video/graphics work. At which point, it may be worth considering a Macbook Pro anyway!
      Thanks for watching 🙌

    Is this fixed with the M4? Lack of Background Processes and System-Wide Utilities - this the major problem with the iPad pro and I keep asking Apple please fix it. I have to wait 1hr to render a video and wait for it to upload without touching the ipad.

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't use the iPad to render videos very often, when I do I use Lumafusion and it's usually for short clips. The iPad probably isn't the best device for heavy workflows.

    Let's see what WWDC unveils for iPad OS. I am currently using the 2022 12.9 (Photo Editing) and an 11 in 2018 (content consumption). Still, is it worth shelling $2500+ (1tb, 13in, keyboard, Pencil Pro) ? We shall see, but my current 2 iPad setup is still rockin’. If the OS is only moderately improved, no way…That $2500.00 would buy a lens or a couple of lenses.

    Which variant of the 11” did you get? I would use it for photo editing and was thinking about the 512Mb of storage but should I go to 1TB for the extra ram and performance core?

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      From what most other reviewers are saying, only 1% of the 1% of heavy users will really notice the extra power.
      Mine’s the WIFI only 256GB.
      If you need all that power, I’d save my money and get a MBP.

    After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an 11 inch iPad Pro, I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor?

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The great thing about the iPad now is its versatility, so I guess you could.
      However - assuming you don’t already own a laptop - this may be a better option for your productivity as your primary device. I like extending my iPad screen occasionally, but with the current limitations of Stage Manager, I’ve found it still way off a desktop-like experience.
      The iPad works best as a complimentary device to a laptop/desktop computer. There are specific use cases like note taking I guess that could justify you spending your money on an iPad instead, but overall if I could choose one, it would be a laptop (look at MacBook Air M2/M3)

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly, the last model wasn't!
      As mentioned in the video, it's now much lighter so therefore more usable as a portable machine, has a far better display which makes working on it a much better experience (plus all the other stuff I said in the video 😉), yes the apps I'm using remain the same, but the overall experience and usability has improved.

    Great video, have you considered the Logitech combo touch case? Or if that something your not interested in?

    • @FeelProductive
      @FeelProductive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I did try the Combo Touch with my previous iPad M2, I found it to be inferior to the Magic Keyboard. It was impossible to rest on your lap and it took up too much real estate on my desk because of the kickstand style form factor. The keyboard and the trackpad were also slightly inferior. I did like that I could separate the case from the keyboard, but there were far too many drawbacks.
      Thanks for watching 🙌

    • @FeelProductive

      Great question!
      1. I'm used to the 11" form factor, it's ultra portable and works better as a complimentary device to a laptop in my opinion.
      2. I found the 13" really difficult to hold physically, and with iPad OS as it is currently it doesn't make best use of the screen real estate for me. The additional cost is also harder to justify for those reasons.
      Thanks for watching 🙌

      It's unnecessary to have such a large form factor if you own a MacBook. The transition is seamless: iPhone Pro, 11" iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Studio Display if you need a bigger screen.
