I would hardly call that an accurate description simply because wolves have an excellent understanding and respect for social norms, hierarchies, and functionality of a group familial unit. Such a statement would be an insult to such a respectful animal, much unlike your garden-variety narcissist.

You're basically fucked. Sorry. I hate to say it but the kids are doomed. There are a few lucky people who will shield the kids but if you bred with a narc you are probably already trained to be a submissive source of supply. They picked you because you passed their triage tests in the beginning. Look to your parents and or caregivers to see. Healthy people with strong boundaries don't attract them. It took exactly 20 minutes of speaking with my parents about my marriage to realize that they each thought it was normal.

Knitting Artisan we are sweethearts. We need a loving, stable and harmonious home environment for our family. If we were capable of giving The silent treatment, they wouldn’t be with us. I’m a tough cookie but just like men, the tougher we are in the world, the more we need our soft relationship and we wouldn’t be with them if they were all bad. When you’re freaking out because you’re sick of the game and then they make you feel crazy and say “it’s ok, I’ll always love my little psycho path” it’s so hard not to just finally get some love. I’m a perfectionist and an overachiever and when i have the comfort and security of our home, I have a place I can recharge. It’s really hard. We are the products of broken and messed up societies. There is no glory in losing someone you love, even if he is toxic. I’m sure we can work it out?

I was once a semi-narcissist, but then made a sincere effort to change once I realized this problem. Once I changed and bettered myself, I started to see narcissistic traits from my own former friends. This was the first time I was able to see myself in them, and let me tell you, I did not like it. After witnessing this, I’ve made a conscious effort to completely change myself to a well-rounded human being.

She has always liked helping people and now she is much better equipped to be able to help others. So keep up the good work. God helps those who help themselves.

I have been with a narcissist and I didn’t know at first. When he gave me the silent treatment and ghosted on me for the first time, I was in physical pain I swear... then I came across these videos and learned what to do.
He came crawling after ignoring him and not giving him what he wished.
Then I realized he is giving me silent treatment almost every time we have some really little argument... if we are together in his place I would cry and go crazy and he would literally smile. (So scary) he wouldn’t care my tears!!!!
and if I am in my home that gives me time to relax and not be in his trap. But I learned a lot from this video and it helped me protect myself emotionally.
These people are really sick in the head.
Also I recently found out he was married and lied to me whole time. And he looked so innocent all the time and promised me honesty.

I wish I would have known this at the time. I was with my ex about 8 years ago. To this day, the horrible names I was called, the way I was treated, and just so shut out. Not knowing what I did wrong really affected me.
I am learning that I'm not the only one. He had a smear campaign alright. His own mother called me a whore over two dozen times. This guy told mommy everything about me. Which was used against me.
I am not blameless. I shouldn't have engaged in such behavior. I should have kept my mouth shut. How could I have not seen it? I used to think of him as my friend over the last 20 plus years. I always knew he had a temper, but never factored in this narcissism.
He emotionally tore me down, then cut me out of his life. I let it hurt me so much. Actually believing the cruelty these people spewed at me. Even though in reality, I know I'm not a whore. Or a, "Cum dumpster." Which is the most vile thing you could ever say about a woman.
I spent many years taking the blame. Especially when he would read but not answer my fb messages. Here we go again, what did I do this time?
Well for the first time, I am no longer grieving the loss of this FAUX friend.
Just because you have known someone for 20 plus years, doesn't mean that they ever cared about you.
He was Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde. He got angry with me once for simply having to empty my bladder before sex. He once yelled at me during sex.
He is now married to someone much younger. Prior to this, he told me of his expectations of a potental wife. Cook, clean, do his laundry...etc...etc.
I recoiled and secretly thought, thank god that isn't me.
As a child, I saw how my father too expected all of this from my mother. After 25 years, she was done. It always had to be his way all of the time.
I wonder if I was subconsciously attracted to that. I used to think of our fights as the spark in the relationship when really, it was abusive.
The more research I do, the better and more validated I feel.
I was catching myself often thinking of him. Thinking that some small part of me would always love him.
Now I see, it was like an addiction to a rush, not love, not at all.

Took me way more than a year to get over a narcissist that came into my life, moved quickly and fully manipulated me. All the blame was cast my way and it caused me so much pain and stress at the time. Looking back, wish I knew then what I know now. Don’t feed into the game, don’t supply oxygen. When I finally started ignoring I reclaimed my power back. Took a long time for things to sink in. I never want to go through that again.

No. Narcissistic personality disorder is a *mental illness,* not because of demons. And yes their behavior is their fault, not some demon or whatever you make up.

The past 18 years of marriage and counseling and all the stuff that made no sense, suddenly fell into absolute clarity and now makes total sense. Unfortunately, the damage is done, and our children are suffering because I spent the entire time thinking I was in the wrong and crazy. I had no chance of a successful marriage. I have been completely isolated from my entire extended family, because they believe all her nonsense. Of course I am just realizing, that I never knew she was working her smear campaign for the past 18 years. And not once did any of my family come to me or ask me, anything. The fact that they can control it around certain people (authority figures and people whom they "respect"), proves that it is NOT unconscious behavior. If they can comport themselves decently on the one hand, but drop their pants with YOU, well then they know right from wrong. Thank you for pointing this out. I'm over the narc excuses: "I just couldn't help myself" and the classic, "You made me do it."

Yes, they do know what they are doing. My mother used to shout the hell out of me - every day - sometimes twice a day a scene. No matter how I tried to be perfect. I could clean the whole house and having A-s in School - and cooking food for the wole family - I never could escape her raping me with shouted words and saying the meanest things. But-when a neighbour came she stopped at once and they had nice Cup of tea-and the neighbour went on to the grocery store-and mother closed the door and went on. Must be kind of stupitidy, alcohol and sadism. I hate my mother - so often she poisenend me with washing pulver and salt- after I had found out she is sick and mean and letting her know, maybe a fault-I dont know ! My mother is mean -and so stupid that I could cry or beat her to death-if only that would be possible. She needs hours in the bathroom, cannot cook the simplest meat-dishs,tried to kill my sisters baby with a pillow-puts liquid washingpulver on the stones and takes seven towles to rub it into the Garage floor to remove the oil rests. She eats chocolate and liquorice the whole day and we have to stay allert all the time. But she can drive a car - has a low -profile job as an telefoniste for big pharm-and looks clean in her Dolce- and Gabbana Outfits. But ,when she opens her mouth - you can really watch some people are literally shocked !Every man ran away from her as soon as possible. My father ran and said help she is crazy as hell !Unfortunately he didnt tell us nor took us with him.He has a new family today. Stupidness is very dangerous. On the other hand-they must suffer big fear when realizing they cannot do anything real. My mother has a maid for her laundry. It should give nice homes for such people-in which theri could get some good pocket Money and their own rooms. And they could work supervised very easy work-six hours a day. There are such homes but run by the Nazis who giving them deadly laxatives calling it Psychopharmaka. The People who are sick knowing this and fear it and do try it on their own - and what else can they do.Friends they will never have-at least some who would Show them something. So they have to be Lovers in order to have a past-when at least they have learned all their needed and find the ultimate last one to marry and be fine with it. But thats my crude fantasie....dont known why parents sadistically torture their children-I mean that are the biggest helpers they would have when being nice. I am quite confused. maybe ist an alcoholic Thing only and their are in a mental coma and do not realize theri behaviour afterwards......

Breakthrough Moment. This is because they're evil. Psychopaths and narcissists are simply evil, they enjoy causing others pain and suffering. A psychiatrist will not use the word evil to describe them but I know that's what they are because I've dealt with a few of them in my life, some of them in my own family. They know exactly what they're doing and would rather cause pain than joy. They are actually more common than people may realize and my advice to all is to avoid social media as it is full of narcissistic people. Narcissists need attention and use social media as a weapon.

Very true Breakthrough Moment. They are professional abusers with years of practice. Their lives are pathetic just like they are, so they've given up on that. Instead, they choose a victim to destroy, to give the illusion that they're living a good life.
The sad thing is... if they actually put all this time and effort of abusing into their own lives, they could actually be something. Instead, they'd rather lay in their hate, anger and bitterness. There are two paths we can take in life, I think we all know which one the narc has chosen.

I think It’s better we understand that Life isn’t a bed of roses and it only takes a smart and determined mind to know what he or she is getting into. There’s a popular saying that: “don’t trust too much because that too much might hurt you so much”. A Narcissist shouldn’t be trusted. I discovered my husband of 13 years cheating on me through the help of Cyberhackingsage who helped cloned his cellphone and i was able to read all his messages and uncover his Infidelity without having to touch his phone. All i did was share my husband’s number with Cyberhackingsage and i got access to his social media accounts. I read all recent and deleted chats On his WhatsApp, Snapchat, and emails with a remote link on my phone. I’m here in L.A and able to read my husband’s text even while he was away in Australia cheating on me. I found out through his chats that my husband has been secretly diverting our hard earned savings to his old school mistress for upkeeps. Thanks to Cyberhackingsage, now i am going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him.. You can contact this Sage hacker Via Gmail ( cyberhackingsage@gmail ) Or Text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp +15713758467 and don’t forget to thank me later.

I so wish I had known during my relationship that it was narcissist behavior so I could find channels like yours to gain insight THEN instead of after the whole ordeal was over. What I wouldn't have given for this knowledge because I just felt so defeated and worthless and unwanted. Sadly, it's been a year and a half and I still have these feelings that I just can't seem to overcome. They have the power to completely break a person, to destroy their spirit, to make them hate themselves! Every time I even have an inkling that he might be seeing someone new all I can think about is how sorry I feel for this woman because I KNOW her life will eventually be the hell that mine was. What you said about them being, in a sense, a bear at home and a teddy bear in public is so true and it's what eventually broke me. It left me feeling as if there was something wrong with ME, like I was a disgusting, horrible person that didn't deserve to be loved. I still carry that with me and fight it every day. Thank you for the good that you're doing for the people that are in this type of relationship. I had no idea what it was before but narcissism is REAL.

Your videos are the clearest, most informed I have watched, and I have watched100s.
Anyone just at the start, you must get out. I have a covert narc mother, found out a year ago and had tried for my whole life 54yrs, to have a good relationship, feel some love etc. I also had a relationship with a covert narcissist and ended up trying hard to kill myself , I was so deluded from his treatment, I had no idea why I was worth being alive.
PLEASE GET AWAY FROM THE NARCISSIST IN YOUR LIFE.

I don’t even know if you read the comments, but I started my journey with you about 4 years ago. At this time I was just learning and putting a name to what I had been going through. So I wasn’t crazy and it wasn’t just me. I went through so many phases and here 4 years later I’ve finally cut ties. I am free, and I thank you. I’ve listened to many other people since then, but Your channel is gentle and your tone is reassuring… calm. I’m glad I started here❤️

Thank you so much Michelle for this TIMELY video! My therapist wanted me to call my "friend" of over fifty years to find out why he treated me like I was an absolutely disgusting person at our family church. I had decided I was going to call him today.
THANK GOD I DIDN'T CALL HIM!! He wouldn't have believed me anyway.
I have been going Low Contact the last few months and it has been grand, well, until the church incident happened a couple of weeks ago. That hurt so much. But thanks to you, I have a brand new attitude about it all.
I cannot thank you enough. You are golden. THANK YOU MICHELLE!!
P.S. - I want you to know that I have your videos on a private playlist and I do delete them from my activities page BUT I ALWAYS GIVE YOU A THUMBS UP. I want you to know that I appreciate you so much. Bless your beautiful heart Michelle. : )

My husband of 24 years has all the symptoms of being a covert narcissist. He never screamed and cussed but he was so mentally and emotionally abusive. He played mind games. He shut me out. He stonewalled. It was awful. He discarded me in November after all the years. He’s tried to Hoover me a few times but I have ignored him. I am thankful to finally be free. I just hate I stayed in it so long.

Thank you Michele! Your videos help me so much! I can't go no contact with my ex narc because we have a child. He tries to suck me into conversations about our child in text, but every time I end up feeling bad. I have learned with your guidance to only answer with yes or no and give brief info about our child. This psycho told me as he was discarding me that I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for him. Every time I watch one of your videos I realize what a blessing it is that he discarded me. There are so many things in your videos that trigger a memory of the way the narc treated me and it makes me feel so validated and less crazy! Thank you so much!

whenever my bf and i talk seriously, when i "earned" his seriousness for once, he says i make him sound like he abuses me and asks if i think he abuses me. well, i say no to him, but we all know he does at least know what he is doing. i not any longer will see a middlefinger in my face or be told that i'm fake. i will no longer be insulted through a complimentatory filter and smile. i will no longer take part, this is not love. and honestly, he never really had me. i was aware from the beginning, yet was lonley. he makes me feel guilty for wanting to leave, but i have found my selfworth.

Hey uh, I saw that in your situation he asked you if you thought he abused you, and was wondering if you think that’s a sort of tell sign- asking you if you think they’re doing something bad to you kind of thing. Like.,, “do you think I’m manipulating you?” “Do you think I’m lying to you?”
Glad you made it out of that situation :3

"Also they can learn to be 'better narcissists'" UGH > wow, now THAT'S a phrase! Yet I think I GET it.
Seems there's no such thing as a 'better narcissist' but they DO learn tricks and manipulative strategies to become much better at their game. Despite their evil pathology, they also tend to be intelligent enough to observe and read people over time, and especially once accused of being a narcissist, many will 'up their game' by purposely displaying tactics that might make them fall OUT of the description of a narcissist.
For example, I know of one who uses the word "empathy" a lot on social media. Since we know narcissists have ZERO empathy, people may think > 'oh he's showing empathy, so cannot be a narc' > NO he TALKS about it to throw you off, does not mean he ever actually FEELS it > just one who has "learned to be a better narcissist". Another narc I know makes a big deal publicly about his volunteer work for a local charity, and we may think > wow NO narc does THAT, eh? Smart narcs might. He does it in ways to beg attention and despite that it happens only once per year, gets him a lot of notoriety on the ultimate goal, the facade of Mr. Good Guy. Amazing the numbers of people why BUY it. He even got media coverage, all the while acting in 'humble' ways. BEWARE the Narc, even MORE the Smart Narc.

    WOW. 🤯
The Narcissists don't want you to know their Jeckylle and Hyde routine is on purpose because if you did, you'd know they will never change. As long as you think it's happenstance or due to their broken childhood, etc, you will hold on to hope that you can save them, change them, or that they can heal.
    🤯🤯🤯🤯 Well done, Michelle!
