    Man...I wish every tutorials are like yours. So coherent and to the point. This is better then the tutorials from the Behringer.

      Definitely. I don’t have a Wing (yet) and came here to learn how to route effects as everything I heard about it sounded weird. Within minutes it made perfect sense.

    What is the point/advantage of sending the FX bus to an Aux channel?

    • @RutasYAtardeceres
      @RutasYAtardeceres 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The main benefit is being able to send FX to musicians monitor mixes (ears or wedges)

      But couldn‘t you just send bus to bus as long as you‘re using bus 9-16 for the FX and 1-8 for the monitor mixes?

    So I typically like to have my vocal delay send on a DCA, I would assume to make this work you would do the delay post fader insert on the bus so you can then assign the bus fader to a DCA?

    You said that you send your delay bus to your reverb bus. I'm moving from an X32 and in the interest of the learning curve, I've kept my effects on busses 13 - 16. I've got a reverb on bus 13 and the vocal delay on bus 15. With bus 15 selected, when I hit the sends icon at the very bottom left of the wing screen it only gives me the option of sending to and from busses 1-8. Is this by design? I've got all my in ears on busses 1-4, talkback on 5, and my Ableton compy sending to bus 7 & 8.. Should I change all that, and move my effects to the 1-8 busses?

    Hi Drew, why did you send the drum verb directly through the band bus? By band bus, do you mean like a dca?

    Keep the series coming! Great job. We need more Wing tutorials. Also, any known templates for the wing?

    • @denniscrosbymusic
      @denniscrosbymusic ปีที่แล้ว

      A template is something personal to an engineer. It represents years of experiences and theories all piled into one show file.
      It’s fine to learn from other show files but I hope the file you use on events is one that is personal to you and your workflow.
      Best of luck!

    Great video again. I am usually using the bus only for feeding into the Mains. I do not have the need to waste additional Aux channels.
    The only thing I am doing different is that I do not use bus 1-8 for the FX. Just to be able to rout bus in bus (i.e. if IEMs are on the first 8 busses).

    hello, what is the method to have for example, the same drum reverb effect on the main and have it on Bus 1 or 2 ... (bus 1-8 reserved for musicians ear monitor )oh i can do it - thank you

    Very good video brother keep up the great work 👌😉
    the only thing I would request (if possible) is a better resolution (4K) because it's a bit blurry and it makes it a tiny bit difficult to see some other things you're showing 😢🙏

    Hi Drew, Thank you so much for doing this very informative video. I can't wait to see you do a video on using outboard FX whilst using a DAW. I have tried doing some basic videos myself, but this one thing, I can't can't figure out. Hope you can make a video on this subject to help us home studio/project studio users. Thank you so much again for helping us!
