Thanks again. Much better understanding when having two consoles shared (Live & Broadcast).

Hi Drew, have you ever thought of making tutorials for the other versions of the Behringer X32. Such as “X32Rack, X32 Compact, or X32 Producer?
Your tutorials are detailed and effective.

Would love to see a video with advice on processing crowd mics for broadcast mix with FOH console. Gain eq gate and compression and also to keep them consistent without having to adjust levels throughout service( singing and speaking )

Hi Drew, can you make real life example of this, with alive band or input so we can hear the difference

Great video, Drew. I've got a FOH M32 and an X32 dedicated for broadcast. The M32 is feeding the X32 via AES50. Is there a way to have both consoles operate gain independently? Would connecting both consoles directly to our S32, as opposed to interconnecting both consoles via AES50, add any benefit from a gain perspective?

connect your house to the A on the S32, then your Broadcast to B from the S32 to the A on the X32

Virtual Sound Check. The card in/out taps and inserts between the pre- amp (analog Gain) and the D/A ( Digital Trim). Can I set Trim on all channels to zero so playback from DAW gives me the same levels I heard when recording?

I have a question about the USB playback function on the x32

Hey Drew, quick question. Will adjusting trim affect the IEM mixes? Or is the purpose of trim so that the faders can sit at unity with correct gain?
    Thanks!

If you are plugging some type of analog device into a channel on a mixer, you adjust the analog channel gain to what it needs to be for optimal gain staging. Trim is also gain, but it comes into play after the signal has been converted to digital. Trim is used to make small level adjustments so you don't have to go through the process of re-setting your analog gain for something minor. If you need more than a small tweak, you need to fix it with analog gain.
I believe this answers question. If not, try to give more details.

Hello Drew, how does one determine the nominal gain level on their consule?

really random question, but is there any way we can lock a gain once it's been set on the X32? I need to get my students more confident on using faders, instead of the gain to prevent feedback.

So the solution is to split the signals for a different stage boxes?
