  • The Honda Civic Si, is looked at like the middle child alongside the Civic, and the Civic Type R. Having many upgrades from the everyday Civic you see on the road, the SI is seen by many enthusiasts as a very fairly priced platform to use for track usage or even daily with a bit of spirited driving.
    Due to our super hands-on experience with this platform, we've decided to make it next on our list. Just how much does it cost to modify a 10th gen Honda Civic Si? Watch the whole video to see the cost of parts from mild to WILD builds.

      @kennethrivera8628 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @oopaiyx6x
      @oopaiyx6x 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the same mods, different brands. On TSP stage 1+. The preference is yours. You can stay where you're at or get it tuned specifically for your mods via e tuned or locally. The next time you'll need a tune for sure is adding flex fuel or a bigger turbo. FMIC does not require tuning, however the Race Maf does. That's why the company asks which Maf you have. The downpipe however, high flow catted may cause CEL but can be "deleted" through ktuner so you don't have the dash light.

    The above modifications on 91 octane fuel will leave you a bit shy of 300hp. On 91oct fuel most land in the 280-285 range. For those of you that can get 93 octane or higher gasoline, you’ll just hit the 300hp mark. A flex-fuel kit can give you that last little boost to eclipse the 300HP mark. All around $4k USD 😃

      I got a 2.0 (6mt) accord w/ a stage 3 tune. Pushing around 280whp and 330 tq to the wheels. Honestly feels great for what it is, If it was auto i’d probably just call it a day (If i wanted something faster i’d just get a 340i). Since it’s manual i’m gonna go big turbo, intercooler, catted dp, flex fuel kit, and just a few other internal parts. As is, i’ve beat C300’s, Charger RT, modded IS350, Toyota Avalon, Genesis 2.0 & 3.8, and have kept up with Audi S5 on numerous occasions. If you’re 5k deep and can get your money’s worth selling the car then do it and just get something faster. If not just f it and go all out. Ktuner is trash. It’s buggy as hell. You have to reflash your car multiple times before the tune will take and ktuner has no desire to fix this issue according to the email responses I’ve received from them about it.
    If your going to track your car, like streets of willow for example, get the koyorad radiator and get a mishimoto coolant catch can. The factory system dumps your coolant to the street. For the clutch save yourself the headaches you will get from clutchmasters and spec and drop the money into the type r retro kit. The E85 flex kit is an absolute must get. Just order a set of new injectors because eventually you will have injector issues and you will notice it by jumping afr.
