I Nearly Peed Myself on 1 Month of HRT

- There's a handful of HRT progress videos out there, but as far as I can tell there don't seem to be week-by-week updates. I'm hoping to fill that niche by being as informative as possible and hopefully making this into a monthly series, for the first year at least. Even if you're not transitioning, I hope this was... entertaining?
(This was originally uploaded to my main channel before I decided I wanted to keep scripted content on the main channel and unscripted content here.)

Although I'm 3.5 years into transition, it makes me so happy to see girls just starting transition and figuring themselves and their body out as it starts transition.
Not sure how old you are, but I had braces during high school and then basically went through the same surgeries to fix my jaw. Had to have two teeth extracted. Then had surgery where they broke my upper and lower jaw and pulled the both forward to give my tongue more room and also to fix my underbite. That all happened towards the end of high school.
Egg cracked though at 36, HRT at 37, now I'm just another girl at 40 going on 41 (this month).

I'm 25, turning 26 this year, it's cool to see whose footsteps im following 😊
Hi there
I need a trans girl to help my journey😢
hey how has it felt? i'm also starting at 36, what a coincidence)) had almost convinced myself it was too late, but then went like "nah, screw this shit, i'm gonna live the rest of my life the way i've actually always wanted"
The feeling like you have to pee and/or can’t hold it in could be related to spiro but there’s perhaps a chance it’s the estrogen. I know i had this (along with dribble) and it was extremely noticeable and somewhat annoying for about a year starting a few months in. My hypothesis is that it’s from a drastic shrinking of the prostate, which surrounds the urethra - estradiol was originally given to men with prostate cancer to shrink their prostate and if you think about old men having trouble urinating it’s a common problem usually caused by enlarged prostate. I couldn’t find info about this issue so i was worried it would last forever but fear not, because eventually (i’m a bit less than 2 years in) the muscles in the pelvic floor/lower urinary tract area seem to strengthen and you are back to having normal control over things.
Ohhh that's definitely a possibility, though I do feel that once I got off spiro I stopped peeing quite as much. I still pee a lot but that was happening pre-HRT anyway haha
please keep making these, this video is so great! youre so articulate!
I'm filming tonight! Thank you 😊
i aappreciate how well you can articulate your emotion, thank you for making great content for the trans community. I've had a lot of the same emotional doubts as a baby trans woman and I love your jacket. :3
I'm glad you're enjoying it, I'll let you borrow the jacket 🧥
The $7 jacket was soooooo cool wtf
I know right! And apparently it normally sells for $100
W music selection!! I just hit my one year on HRT nd i’m also autistic. I loved hearing your experience- I relate in so many ways.
Arca changed my life for the better
oh, the workout motivation - can totally relate here!)
It feels so much better!
I autistic but other than maybe being a little more more grumpy I still am waiting for increase emotions. HRT for almost a month and a half
As I understand it, the tissues of your, um, don't want this to get deleted... eggplant? ... are used as part of bottom surgery, so even if you're not keeping your, um, _eggplant,_ you still want to keep it from shrinking so it can provide as much tissue as possible.
Awesome advice, thank you! I'll be sure to mention it in the next update!
off topic but nonbinary by arca 😍😍
omg rakataaa
Arca is a queen and I adore everything she touches

spiro is awful! beware friend i have up close perm blindness due to takin spiro for 6-7 months I'm on a lawsuit which a payout will be nice, but it won't bring back my vision. my entire body ached inside the bones as well horrible side effect that went away 2 days safter stopping since i had the bilateral orchiectomy done didn't need it anymore. Side effects don't happen to all but just be aware
Yeah I've already halved my dose of spiro because I couldn't handle how much it was making me pee, but unfortunately in the US it doesn't seem like there's much else that does exactly what spiro does.
It sucks that that happened, I hope you feel better!
@@2depressed2laugh22 Genderqueer girl here, check out the, often very powerful, effects of liquorice (UK spelling, sorry, I'm a Brit, :-) if used recklessly it can have bad sides, but one interesting beneficial, for us, effects is that it reduces testosterone reasonably effectively, so it might be worth a try, if reduced levels of T are needed, though gives me splitting headaches if I go too mad with it, so you'll need to research it thoroughly. Pretty close monitoring of hormonal status all the way through initial transition, 2-3yrs, is advisable anyway. Hope your journey goes well, and it manifests all you dreams, take care, Ella.
Just wait till your dealing with the long term side effects of taking cross sex hormones. Im now at year 46 of taking them & dealing with the positive & the negative side-effects. Luckily for me it's all been worth it. as SRS was the only way forward for me and the only way I could be happy within my own body. It's not the right path for everyone & many do regret it.
Here in NL the typical testosterone blocker is a GnRH agonist like triptorelin. As far as I know, it has basically no unintended side effects after the first two weeks or so that are needed before it works as intended.
I think it's also sometimes used in the US? Maybe not as much because as far as I know it's a bit expensive.
Anyway, never heard about blindness before but for anybody not wanting Spiro: maybe you can try to get a GnRH analogue?
Thanks for sharing with us ❤
Of course! I'm looking forward to being more active on both channels 😊
One whole month! We need a parade and a holiday in your name! Total accomplishment!
