Best tip I can give is watch enough tutorials to know the basics then just mess around and practice, and just keep going until one day you will think back and go, “oh this makes sense now” keep up the good work!
Bro you could have render your project in open exr format it's like a raw file like dslr's which you a lot of detail to work with and can be open in photoshop
