I miss home. I went to Les Beauchamps school for the first year. I lived at the bottom of the junction of the Rohais du hois and castle hill. I lived with my aunt and uncle at their cottage adjacent to the chippy.
When we were kids we'd go scrumping over the wall that was the convent which is now the St Pierre Park.
Thank you for bring home a little closer. I wish I could return to stay.

We've stayed at Les Roquettes 4 or 5 times. Last time in 2016. We've stayed in both the hotel and the self catering apartments. Coming to the island for two weeks it's nice not to be confined to one room. Hope we get the chance to come back soon. Thanks for the excellent vlog Ross.

I saw my uncles old house where I lived just now in your video.
My aunty Molly used to work at Yemans guest house through the arch at the top of the Rohais.
We used to play in Cambridge park and Saumuraze park. Is there still sand racing on Vazon Ross?
My cousin and her husband own the carpet shop on the bridge if it's still there.
I have three cousins on the island
I hope to visit next summer when we get direct cheap flights from Newquay to Guernsey.

Marvellous drive along (what a good run on the lights !) smooth composed commentary (the hill climb sounds a great event), these trips are really very good !

Guernsey looks massive on these drive alongs but it isn't massive. So weird in that sense.
