Would you say that the shifter breaking is an issue with the product or would you say that's "user error"?😂 only asking cuz I just ordered the short shifter for mine and I dont want that happening to me lol
@nicrandazzo758 the aftermarket torque is made out of poly urethane vs rubber on the stock one so it transfers a lot more noise/vibration from the engine and transmission to the chassis where you sit causing that
So I take it that the Forge Short Shifter is not a good product if to install you have to remove material from plastic that requires the strength it has in order to be reliable? Definitely won't do this to my track car lol Thanks guys
Honestly I think it was the tuning we did not the intake. The intake rand for hundreds of miles without a code then once we tuned it we started having problems
What code are you throwing?
Nice to see Cusco is still around…..
nahhh the horse knows what real horsepower looks like
How did you guys fix the shifter linkage?

User error lol. I would not use a side cutter I would use the Dremel tool and only cut off a very small piece
u think the jack was really needed for that? was there that much drop when you took it off?
Probably didn’t need it but just to be safe lol
I didn't use it on mine, I got an airtec one and he's not wrong about the excess vibrations lol
@@gianmarcoaguilar183 what do you mean by that

@@gianmarcoaguilar183 thank you for clarifying
haha I love all this footage showing the pains. Should have whipped out the 'ol duct tape for the shifter! Syvecs maybe soon?
New ecu will be here in three days so the video will come out next week!
Should’ve got a circuit 🤣 nah jk hope you get it fixed soon

MST intake throws codes? That’s pretty disappointing

If you have to break off a piece from the shifter cable first, then the aftermarket product you're installing is a piece of trash.
17 minutes of cringe
agreed ha ha
