Why the fuck are we talking like it’s okay that Toyota manufactured a “track capable” car with an AWD system that overheats and has the potential to cause permanent damage after just a few laps? And telling buyers of a $40K Corolla who want to track their car to go spend another $3K in aftermarket mods that will certainly void your warranty is crazy behavior. The most a car should need for a track day is pads, fluid, tires. GR Corolla owners should be up in arms with Toyota over this bullshit.

I recognize that fin design on the stm intercooler. It’s a garret core and they are expensive but they are the best cores you can buy. Only draw back is that it can cause over heating if you have a car that has bad air flow to the radiator but they are super popular in the Mitsubishi community.

Any input on throttle response? Going bigger should lower it, no?

I was wondering about that rear clutch gear change you guys did about half a year ago. Has it still been reliable? Also, how does it make you feel different when driving hard? Thank you

Want to test for heat soak, close the hood and run these tests. Then you can confirm your theory that the stock intake lets in hot air through the flap, and then confirm if heat soak still persists with the new intake with the hood closed.

When u pull the handbrake u can keep ur foot on the gas since the power is disconnected from the rear wheels while handbraking. Its even more fun in the rain.
