Better off getting a better intercooler before intake. Because turbo will heat up the air. Had my gr yaris since it came out. Not sure about the corolla but yaris has a intake directing air fromnthe side of the intercooler to the airbox intake, intake flap opens up when boost comes on so air should be flowing up to the intercooler by then. Not muchnto stress about, people getting good power with stock airbox because it flows pretty good. It's just really quite, that's why I changed mine 😅
You can run it without a tune, as we did the same thing for a while before getting pro tuned. Getting tuned for that part will always get you the best result.

The stock intake box will draw hot air in when the flap opens unless there is a cold air duct run to it. Maybe you should build one for us to try!

Forge’s short shifter kit is WAY easier to install than Cosmo Racing’s. I wonder if Forge offers one for the regular Corolla manuals.🤔😃
Question, can I run the turbo inlet pipes with out a tune?? And the biggest question, do it give you a Check Engine/CEL light??

Can you use a cone filter inside the stock airbox without the carbon fiber top ?
You cannot unfortunately, the factory box does not have enough room or a section to mount the cone filter
