@@Mslouve1 I experienced my first inner thigh spasm last month and I thought I was dying...most excruciatingly horrifying pain ever! A leg cramp normally goes away by stretching or walking, but the inner thigh nothing worked, lasted close to 15 minutes. I had to crouch in pain till it went away...my groin felt like it was being ripped apart. Will try the mustard if it ever happens again.

Here is the cure I have used for most of my life. Pinch your upper lip!- hard! If the pain is really really bad, then pinch your upper lip with both hands. The pain sensation/ nerve endings from your lip is much closer to your brain than your legs, so the pain is reduced. Stand up and the cramp will gradually release. Many people keep a pack of mustard on their bed stand. The principle is the same- the very strong taste of the mustard fires the nerve endings in your mouth which are very close to your brain.

Just take 500mg of magnesium at bedtime or during the day sometime. Sometimes I take it twice a day. Magnesium relaxes muscles and calcium causes them to tighten. If I drink too much milk or eat too much cereal with milk, I get too much calcium and my calves cramp at night. Same with too much cheese. Then, I’ll take magnesium.

I think you're right! On googleing what causes these leg cramps I found that the lack of magnesium could be the cause. When researching what foods contain magnesium (because I didn't want to swallow another pill), I found that fruits, juices, and leafy green veggies all contain magnesium. I knew right away that these foods were probably my problem because I don't eat fruits and juices and only eat leafy green vegetables now & then. Within 3 days of incorporating these in my diet, my leg cramps at night have stopped. THANK GOD!

My husband suffers from severe leg cramps, especially at night- he's been up 3 times a night for the past three nights. He drinks water during the day, uses the Theraworx and takes pills for cramps at night. This was not working particularly well. The addition of the NUUN tablets was a game changer. He's been free of those night cramps for the last three nights. Thank you so much for all your videos. I'm a huge fan.

The cramps I’ve gotten and get that deserve the Oscar Award 🥇 for the most excruciating pain are hamstring cramps. That’s like half your body in one giant screaming 😱 cramp. I’ll get them in both legs at the same time usually while sitting and sometimes in bed. The best thing I’ve found to alleviate them is to drink about 8 ounces of a 50/50 mix of apple cider vinegar and water.

I take a capsule of magnesium when I wake up with muscle spasms in my calf, but after watching this video and reading the comments how some find relief from pickle juice etc, I'm remembering what my herbalist told me on my first muscle test. He said my body was low in salt, which confused me because I put salt on everything! He told me I wasn't eating the right salt. He told me to buy Redmond's Sea Salt, as it still has all of the minerals in it and that's what my body needed. He told me to take a quarter-sized dose of the salt every morning. I couldn't believe how much better I felt! My cramps stopped, my heart didn't race anymore and I was able to stop taking Xanax for the "anxiety" I thought I had. Turned out I just needed salt. I ran out of this special salt 6 months ago, and now I'm getting leg cramps again. Time to buy more

This may sound crazy but when you wake up in the middle of the night with a leg cramp, you'll try almost anything to feel relief. I take by mouth one tablespoon full of yellow mustard, sometimes two. While you are swallowing the mustard, you can feel the cramp draining away. I told my girlfriend and she said she could never do that. I said to her that she must enjoy the leg cramps or else she would try it out. The next time I spoke with her, she said it really worked for her. Swallowing mustard is much better than suffering with the cramp.

Tonic Water has quinine in it which has also been used for other ailments, but doctors don't suggest you use it because they want to keep busy doing unnecessary surgeries because it pays for their new yacht or their kid's new BMW.
Get a big bottle of Tonic Water at any grocery store today and gulp down a glassful tonight and praise the lord!!! Take charge of your body! Don't make things complicated for yourself! Avoid the guys with knives!

Of course that's why I'm here.
Just before finding this video I was abruptly awoken with the most violent calf cramp imaginable. my right foot LOCKED solid as if pointing downward. I sat here literally screaming as I tried with no avail to bend my foot back at the ankle. I finally got it and managed to stand up and it nailed me again the same way. It's all over with now, I hope. But it left me with a bruised calf.

I subbed because even though I am British I find myself visiting your channel a fair bit since I started my post lockdown get fit regime and also since I broke my radius and ulna in April 21. Its only fair...you supply good info so I have no problem liking and subscribing.
If you can help with the leg cramps (I actually dream I am being bitten by a large dog or a crocodile) that would be amazing but I have had these for over 50 years so I am not expecting them to go away, just anything that helps! Mine do it so bad it feels like theyre going to break the bone or tear but maybe its worse because I have ridden horses since childhood and have pretty well developed calves. Oh I will try that with my resistance bands (I have a house full of fitness things now I am ancient lol! no it really makes you feel so much better just walking every day!). Amlodipine...espescially makes you have cramps, sore legs and a bit of fluid retention in your ankles.

Im 75 years old male and suffered severe night time calf and ankle cramps which made me get up and walk them off.. Started taking calcium, magnesium and potassium supplements and they faded away. Recently I was out of country for 6 weeks and neglected the supplements and, sure enough the cramps returned. Back on them now and also increased my water intake - no cramps.

A side effect reported for statins is back and muscle pain. If you're suffering from inexplicable muscle/back pain which doesn't respond to PT check your medications. Another mystery ailment which is rarely diagnosed properly is flouride toxicity which can produce arthritis-like symptoms in some people even at levels considered safe by EPA according to some studies. Drinking a lot of tap water to stay hydrated and have mysterious aches and pains? Check your water's flouride level. The effects of flouride toxicity can be reversed just by drinking flouride free water (bottled or filtered). Most quality residential filters will trap flouride.

I’m having these charley horses for a while from my feet up through by stomach and back. My potassium magnesium calcium and electrolytes seem to be t the right level. When I’m under the covers it starts in my foot. I point my feet down to get it to stop. I removed the covers to give my feet some space to move. I think my problem is coming from chemo Nevalbine because after and sometimes during chemo it starts up. I need a better mattress right now I’m trying a memory topper.

I get severe cramps all the way from my groin to my toes. I have to take five 500 mg capsules of magnesium as a single dose. But I can only do it for the maximum of three days. Avoid: taking more than 3½ teaspoons of baking soda (seven ½-tsp doses) in a day. taking more than 1½ teaspoons of baking soda (three ½-tsp doses) in a day if you're over 60 years old.
