    Hi babes,
    Thank you so so much for the support and the comments you have been leaving. It continues to help me find inspiration in making these videos every week.
    This week it was really nice to talk about my hormones and how they have been affecting me. I think this is something that so many of us go through and it's something that has been really challenging. I'd love to know what you think and if it's something I should speak about more.

    Hi lovely! I have found my testosterone was out of whack from working out intensely/doing hiit and weights. I switched to more Pilates and yoga and that really helped balance me out! Wishing you all the best with your journey xx

    I love how self aware you are and how much you strive to feel good about yourself, physically and MENTALLY. I think that so often, people cut out the mental part of health and promote only physical appeal. I hope you keep looking and finding what works for you! I have watched your channel for so long, and I truly look up to you and your health journey. I have dealt with some mental/physical health problems and I am on my own wellness journey now.     Everyone has different tolerance when it come to caffeine but a good rule of thumb is not going over 400 mg a day.

      Totally agree!! Lately been having my coffee at 6 am yet I can’t sleep at night .

    Hi Sami! New follower of yours here. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2018. Been a long hard journey, but after seeing an endocrinologist, I was prescribed Metformin & spironolactone (didn’t lose weight), and that combo has helped loads for me. No more symptoms, and blood tests are finally normal. However, I am much happier/have less anxiety now than in 2018... I think hormones are so related to our inner emotions, more than we know

    I’m struggle because I can’t understand so many things. The fitness program that I have give me movements with heavy weights. But seeing you seem enough doing light weights and body bands. I don’t know what type is the best .

    Hi Sami! the limit of caffeine that it's safe to have in a day is actually a lot higher than you would expect! It's about 400mg a day, which corresponds to 4 or 5 cups of coffee. That said, if the coffee you're drinking isn't the highest quality, maybe the caffeine intake is the least of your worries. Make sure you research that as well! I drink 100% arabica coffee from my moka pot, it's my absolute favorite

    Hello Sami, caffein is actually a good and benefiacial for your body, if you drink it in good time (because of the light intensity and the level of your hormones, which changes in the day). You can actually drink 3-5 of these cups (espresso is i believe 25 mg per pot) and it's still "good". But half-life of caffein is like 4 hours so don't drink it too late in the afternoon. And there is one rule, that you need to stic and that's listen to your body:).

    Oh my gosh!! I am also on spirolactine because I have unstable hormones and love exercising. It has caused me to struggle with weight, insomnia, mood swings, etc. It feels really nice to hear someone speak on the same problems I am currently struggling with.

    Re: caffeine I think it depends on the person. The half life of caffeine can be quite long meaning it’s still in your system when you go to sleep. Even if you’re falling asleep, it impacts sleep quality... similar to how alcohol before bed prevents a truly restful sleep. I’ve noticed that since I stopped drinking coffee after 12pm that my sleep quality is better :)

      Wow , 100 % . I used to drink coffee and sleep but not anymore. Lately I have been drinking coffee just in the morning and still can’t sleep at night . I stopped drinking coffee and now I sleep happily.

      @@noufalsulaiman8650 Oh, interesting! Everyone metabolizes caffeine differently, so I think it's just a matter of experimenting with your own body. I even started to switch to just a black tea some mornings vs. a cup of coffee. It still has caffeine but way less. "One 8-ounce cup of brewed coffee contains an average of 95 mg of caffeine, compared with 47 mg in the same serving of black tea." - Still getting a bit of a kick, but not as much!

    Hiii! Ask your doctor about Aczone, its a topical gel for hormonal acne. Works amazing! I'm a Dermatology PA and thats what I personally used when my hormonal acne was acting up. Also moisturizing day and night and not using harsh scrubs on the skin! Good luck!

    Hey Sami! Liked your video very much! About your caffeine question: a total daily dose of 400mg is totally fine, you can even go up to 500mg without any disavantage for your health (200mg for pregnant women). Nespresso capsules differ in caffeine content, but an espresso roughly contains 60-70mg and a lungo 90-100mg.

    I have a hormonal imbalance too but it is a little different I haven't had my period for almost 3 years since I use to have anorexia. still trying to get it back even tho ive been recovered for sooo long I hope I get it back soon 😭 I have increased my calories and decreased my exercise intensity only sticking to strength training and pilates....no cardio or high intensity

    I think it’s totally fine! We have a drip coffee maker with an espresso option and I have regular coffee and then as a treat or if I’m really tired I’ll have an espresso.

    Not sure if this is helpful but I used to work at starbucks and remember that 1 shot had approximately 75mg of caffeine versus a tall/small cup of coffee that has 175-250mg or so. Also, the lighter the roast, the more caffeine it has.

    Caffeine is dangerous and addicting. I highly suggest you listen to Medical Medium caffeine podcast he made. He also talks about the pesticides and herbicides sprayed on it. You are halfway there already by juicing celery. Get the books and heal your PCOS. Much love babe 🌞🤎

    I love my nespresso! I have drip coffee in the am, then in the afternoon I'll either make a latte (with the biano legerro, less caffeine than the other pods) orrrrr I love the half decaf pods!

    Caffeine level differs with each person, if you start not being able to sleep, hyper, or diarrhoea etc. That's usually a sign it's too high for a person, each person's caffeine tolerance varies with genetics :)

    I had Literally the exact same homornal experience as you. Birth control was the only thing that worked. Now my hormones are balanced perfect and my skin has never been clearer and I've never felt so good

    Have you considered seeing a naturopathic doctor?
    I started struggling with hormonal acne in November. So I did some research and stumbled upon Dr. Maura, a naturopathic practitioner. She recommended that I do bloodwork and we found out that my estrogen was at 850 pg/mL when it should be in the range of 50-250 pg/mL. She prescribed me several supplements - 2 vitamins to help with deficiencies, 2 supplements to help with digestive issues, and 1 supplement to help reduce my estrogen levels. It's been a month since I've implemented these supplements and my skin is almost completely clear. Highly recommend her or others who take a similar approach to healing hormonal imbalances.

    Just found you, love this video!nI had all of your issues and solved every one of them with the carnivore diet. Sounds drastic but I was considering accutane and this is no more drastic than that.
